Don't mess with Rickie's sister!
the saint in winchester replied to the saint in winchester's topic in The Saints
Heck, I was going to offer you a lift tonight (as we're from the same postcode) but I wouldn't feel safe with you leering at women when we stop at the lights. :-) -
That was my thought too. Might as well call off the Northern Section games now, and all agree that LEEDS will be in the final, absolutely guaranteed. The Southern Section is much tougher. (sadly)

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/early-doors/article/209917/ ok, it isn't Rickie's sister really :-)

Rovers (2) Vs Saints (3) Post match chat
the saint in winchester replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
What's our thinking on Gobern? Supposedly he wanted to stay at MK Dons with his brother? Is his head right? Should we leave him out? Move him on? Or just give him some time to get his head right? Discuss :-) -
I think you'll find there'll be a change of attitude from a few young players now. We've seen so many go to - at best, sit on the subs bench; at worst, be loaned out to lower level clubs.

Haha, good one. Yeah I was confused too. He lives in Southampton but wants to watch it at a pub in Bristol. Huh? :-)

Who should stand in for Trotman?

Aaron Martin anyone? -
This thread has gone off topic into cultural evaluation and town planning review! ----> LOUNGE! So, any comments on match day attendances? Pretty impressive for L1 generally.

6'2" centre back, 20 yo. Hopefully he'll have some pace at a young age. Yeah, sounds good. A Saints fan in his childhood, so he won't want to clear off to Liverpool or Man U in a few years. Ticks all the boxes. Good stuff.

haha, yeah. Let us know when there is OFFICIAL official news.

Bristol Rovers Match on the Internet

Ah right, it's not just me that has that experience then. :-) Any site that asks for my credit card details (for security) i close down the window. -
One would hope, but the reality is that some (so-called) enlightened manager/club will take the view he has paid his debt and offer him a way back. Like Lee Hughes case. I hope Wigan can hold his player registration until he retires, then tear it up. He should be ashamed of his actions, but they were heightened by his denial of the charges, and insistence it was another bloke.

Paul Lambert scored for us! (according to the bloke on skysports) !!! huh :-)
-
handled on the line, apparently. Took the red card for the team.

Do we send them on at start of 2nd half? Or give them another 15 mins, then unleash the power for the final 30?? -

I'm perplexed by this sequence of events. Seems I'm not alone in that. Guess we just have to wait and see.

This is real positive thinking, Richie. But .... as someone once said ... if my Auntie had balls, she'd be my Uncle! Let's see how things pan out. Nothing is impossible, nothing ... except my Auntie becoming my uncle ... mind you, even then ... oh don't want to think about that ...! :-)

Is that Chris Moyles there bottom left?
-
I wrote suggesting him when he was available previously. Of course, when a Prem club came in, he wanted that. But, as expected, he hasn't made their first team, so hopefully he may be looking to get some games. Agree your suggestion that if we can't keep Trotman, he would be an alternative.
-
Exactly. People talk about "shifting" them. They would need their contracts paying up in full or a negotiated settlement. If we're paying their salaries in full, there's no saving by asking them to leave. That's employment law - unless for gross misconduct they have breached their contracts resulting in dismissal .... and not making the first team won't count as misconduct!
