  1. DvD, lol. Hope that isn't David Van Day (of Dollar) fame. Fans of a certain age would remember him. Later seen with a burger van....
  2. BBC site suggested team has Dele Alli playing as a DM. I thought he was a striker? If we needed a DM to play alongside Shelvey, surely it was Jack Cork!
  3. Graziano got a bit of a telling off by Len Goodman on Strictly on Saturday. Could result in him spending more time in the dance studio this week. Not good for us.
  4. Was it him though? There was a lookalike in Liverpool doing the rounds, putting on a fake German accent, getting his pic taken with the fans.
  5. The Goalkeeper, I presume.
  6. Jamie Vardy.
  7. LOL. Some of those I would be interested in an answer to (highlighted). The others, not really.
  8. Steven Davis, Southampton's Goal Machine!!! That wipes the sneer off those of us (although not me) that said Davis and JWP carry no attacking threat! He's in the groove now, and could get 10 goals this season?!
  9. "injudicious sliding challenge" from Martina. Vardy doesn't need much to go down and get given a penalty. Note to Fonte and Martina - "NO injudicious sliding challenges" please.
  10. Stek Cedric Fonte VvD Bertrand Vic Romeu Mane Davis Tadic Basically, unchanged. Need a stone wall (Victor, Romeu) from the start when they do their Charge of the Light Brigade start to the game. As long as we are on top, then we can take Romeu off and experiment with JWP, or JayRod or even Juanmi.
  11. Agree, but wonder if had more time passed after the game he would have calmed down and realised his team were outplayed. Sticking a mic under a manager's nose 5 mins after the game ends is likely to get a hot-heated response. I'd be interested in his comments now, 36 hours later. If he were to be of the same opinion as at 7pm Sat night, I would be concerned about his sanity. He made the Keegan meltdown interview appear like child;s play.
  12. Agreed. 11 players had good games today but Cedric was my MOTM.
  13. "I am saying nothing". Wish that were true, Jose. Everyone else's fault, isn't it, mate? The players, the officials, the FA, the medical staff, the pitch, God..... just take a breath, Jose/ You're in a bad run. Every team has them. But stop bad-mouthing everyone around you..I give him until December. If Chelsea are not top 6 by then, Roman will have to act, to give his successor the Jan transfer window,
  14. Buffon says he wants a crack in the Premier League before he calls it a day. Sorted.
  15. Send an email to my address and send a £10 fee to (bank account details withheld).
  16. That would be the question in my mind as well. Based on that, it's a no from me. Sorry.
  17. Yep, post #29 is good. Terry, Cahill, Zumba, Ivanevic - they're all 6'3"+, so let's not knock high balls in to Pelle. They couldn't handle Long and Mane running around them last time out and I do believe we have the chance to win big this year! I am seriously expecting us to win. Just hope Lawrenson doesn't.
  18. Pelle and Mane - I expect them to be good based on last season. Virgil - too soon to rate. Tadic is exceeding my expectations (based on last season's showing) so I would give me POTM award to ..... (opens envelope amid whispered expectation) ... Dusan Tadic (Serbia).
  19. I think they already have, Tim. Their manager has said he has no future at their club. And this is a club who are desperate for players; they will take anyone who knows how to lace up their boots. I think it's non-league next for this guy and try to get picked up by a league club and start his career over.
  20. Yes agree. We now have quality on the bench in players who would previously been in the starting 11 eg. Jay.
  21. At St Mary's Pelle and Tadic are undroppable. Away from home, I want to play a more expansive 4-4-2, Mane and Long feeding off Gaston's through balls.
  22. I know you did, sir, but any excuse to crack a joke and we'll take it.
  23. Stek Soares Fonte VvD Bertrand Wanyama Romeu Ramirez Davis Mane Long Gaston's incisive passing, Mane and Long on their motorbikes. No long high balls. Chelsea are comfortable in the high, but susceptible to pace.
  24. If we are allowed 16 plus a goalkeeper, I think we can keep a clean sheet at least
  25. Yes, i think that too. I just hope we don't treat him like a player and tell him to sign a new contract a year before expiry and then tell him to moggy off for not committing. He is being honourable and will see out his contract. Let us let him do that.
