Just ask us. We know it all.

No, nothing xenophobic about it, Village Idiot. Merely a connection that the Dutch put a lot of emphasis on possession football. Sometimes that is over-playing it. Maybe you're not old enough to remember them, so don't comment unless you can put together a structured rebuttal beyond name-calling.

Key phrase is that she imposed no boundaries or rules of behaviour. She thought the best way to handle it was to appear on television.
-
It won't. FA now waiting for Ref's report to see if he saw the act of savagery. If he didn't, they MAY charge him. The player, if charged, has 48 hours to respond. We are looking at Thursday before any sanction is imposed. Unless Jedinak calls the FA and says "I did a stupid thing on Saturday, I'll take my ban immediately" then the games to miss will be after our match.
-
Assuming you remember the last Dutch incumbents, Wotte and Pootevliet.... it was just the same under them. We would pass the opposition to death but no-one wanted to shoot at goal. Seems to be a Dutch thing.
-
Yeah, agree with ALL that. Djuricic looks lively. Long needs a run of games.
-
Don't the FA have to charge him? Then he pleads guilty or not guilty? All gonna take time so he'll be available for the game at ours. Unless he is charged on Monday, pleads guilty immediately and they hand out a 3 game ban immediately, I can't see how he can be banned by Tuesday. (Craig David song in my head now. "I was charged on Monday, got banned by Tuesday ....) Shameful elbow. Winning the game easily. Just bullying. No need for that.

Nathaniel Clyne Joins Liverpool - Official

Yeah right, let's ruin the club's chances of the best Prem finish in years just so we can play someone who has been a contributor less often. Doesn't make sense. -
Nathaniel Clyne Joins Liverpool - Official
the saint in winchester replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
SkySportsNews ticker today: The Daily Mirror are reporting that Chelsea have entered the race to sign Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne, who is also a target for Manchester United. Clyne, rated at around £15m, joined Saints in 2012 and his current deal expires in 2016 and is reportedly stalling on signing a new deal. Who put that valuation on him? Might not get £75M, of course, but I was hoping for upwards of £20M. -
Don't judge everyone's taste/budget by your own, Po'lass. My hotel will have a spa, pool and gym. And a bar ......... and a restaurant.
-
OK, I think we have clearly answered Lou's question - you should veer more toward smart and professional for a lasting relationship. Now, let's use Lou and Po'Lass as our focus group and make this 'The Lady Advice Thread'. I am away on business next couple of days, have a night stop at a hotel. If there's a lady on her own in the bar, should I approach her at all, or am I likely to find myself tasered? If I approach her at all, what is the best line to use an ice-breaker to initiate conversation? So far I haven't found talking about whether Pelle should be used up top, or whether we should play 3 at the back to be particularly successful. So I need help with my conversation initiation skills, please, ladies. Not you, Bear.

The pausity of response kind of answers your question, Batman. So you know you have a reader, I will say that I have no interest in any awards themselves, only on who is playing live between the awards. Mute the sound for the awards and speeches, though.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 0-2 Liverpool
the saint in winchester replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Agree with this. Inconsistent refereeing is at its peak. Retired refs pointing out their errors every week. They do diddley squat Mon to Fri. Surely they can all meet up and be reminded of what constitutes a yellow or a red card etc. If they can't get the decisions right, I am all for referring decisions to a TV watcher. One TV referee. -
Biscuits is leaving. Wants to try his hand in the English Premier League, don't you know! Maybe we could do a swapperooo - they get Morgan, we get Biscuits plus £20M!
-
Why. When I see him about to come on, I go all

Koeman says Mané was dropped due to discipline

If any of you are late at work tomorrow, should you be punished? Discuss. -
He's a tall lad. I'd play him up top until Pelle gets his head together.

What! Our best player today. Only one trying to get in the box and get a goal. And Tadic - if you mean 'why on the bench rather than the pitch'? Because he isn't good enough to get a start. If you mean, how does he get on the bench rather than other players? Beats me. Until he can find the form he shows in the first ten games, may as well play with the U21s.

Only post #2 but basically that's the summary of the game for me too. If you don't buy a ticket, you can't win the raffle and yet again we had lots of possession but no end product. Pelle needs to be told he is supposed to be our main goal threat, not a conduit who knocks down, passes, chests down etc for others. It's YOUR responsibility to try to score goals Graziano! Do it! 90 minutes and Mignolet didn't have a save to make. Start shooting at goal. It worked for Coutinho! Ref was scandalous - we should have 2 pens and Mignolet sent off for handball. Can we refer it the referee's authority? -
TV GAME: Spurs at home - kick-off time changed

Did they? Surely the Premier League decides when we play, not the opponents? How did that happen! -
Đuričić wants a permanent transfer to Saints
the saint in winchester replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Always good when a loan player publicly says he wants to stay (see how it's done, Toby! ) However he has hardly kicked a ball for us yet, so things must be bleak back at Benfica. That said, if he makes a contribution to us getting European football, I would be happy to see him stay. -
Lambert - his reception and farewell...
the saint in winchester replied to Saint86's topic in The Saints
Where do you that idea from? I maintain he would still have been first choice. Pelle is Koeman's choice and Koeman only came in when Lambert had left. Whereas ..... Brenda tells the story that Lambert KNEW from the interview stage that he would not be a regular first teamer, It seems that RL was prepared to give up first team regular football with Saints to take irregular games, sub appearances and cup games with Liverpool. His boyhood club came knocking, and that is what he wanted - to be a part of that club. I don't hold it against Rickie. I am sad that he just doesn't seem to get any game time at all now. But his family are settled up there and I can only see him going on loan to places he can commute to.
