I would drop Mane and Tadic immediately. Pelle's absence means Long has to start. Certainly need to strengthen in January, and ironically I now agree with post above that suggests we should consider having Gaston back on the bench, because Long is our only option off the bench right now. Mane was a signing from left field, Koeman knew of him. Tadic - not sure where he should play. Is he an attacking midfielder or a winger? Right now, he seems neither. The front 3 are right off their game and this slump could continue for a few more games sadly.

Reading your comments, this is depressing, but I can't lift the mood either. Agree he hasn't been effective in the Prem, and surely that is his own fault. Maybe he is the sort that needs a run of games or an arm around the shoulder and make to feel special, but I can't see him making a contribution at Saints, and his poor spell at Hull will put other Prem sides off. Will go back to italy or the continent somewhere, maybe back to South America, but if we are tied in to the contract, he is attached to us a la Tommy Forecast.
