There you have it - unanimous verdict - don't bother with it. Just subscribe to the you tube channel.

It won't be the Celtic boys yet. They have a mountain to climb, admittedly, but Delia won't let them go until they are out of Europe. Probably the Norwich lad(s), and one or two from the Osvaldo affair.

Just reading that brings tears to my eyes. My favorite movie!

His club have quoted £16M to us. I would have opened with a £12M bid but at least £10M is not a daft bid. Maybe we can meet around £13-14M to get the deal over the line.

Bertrand signs for a season long loan

Yes, why not. Rojo has been given a £16M price tag, We can afford it, so let's not go in with a bid of £5M please. Offer £12M and accept we may have go higher. -
Desailly? Marceau? Ross' monkey in Friends?

This is why we should have offered a fair price in the first place. We could have had this deal wrapped up a week ago! Now other clubs are sniffing around.
-
Yes, agree. The worst part of this is that fans' view will be polarised between (1) supporting the club for finally putting a stop to the exodus, and (2) supporting the player who has been dignified *****il now) and waiting for his name to be called to get his move. I think I'm actually with Morgan on this. We can't stop Morgan going now if his heart is set on moving. What 'win' is it for the club to have a disenchanted player on our books.
-
Has anyone told Morgan and Jay that "they are staying, guaranteed"??? Because I'm sure they are planning on going regardless what anyone says.

Had to smile at this comment from Blackpool chairman. Hmmm, so we are the Premier League Blackpool! Well, I agree with that point. Offering 30% of a selling club's asking price creates resentment when trying to deal. We should offer fair values (typically 70% of an asking price) and be prepared to go higher. Overall, Mr Crab Lungs, that for your analysis. I've been optimistic until now but all you say is plausible. To some, it's a good financial model. To others, a recipe for disaster to be selling your assets.

I'm not fussed about Fer, but I would definitely take those two Arsenal lads in return. That should be part of the negotiation over Chambers.

Calum Chambers - Done Deal - Official

Agree with you. We didn't want to sell anyone, but the players wanted to go on to higher ranked clubs, and we are getting top dollar in for them. I know everyone is pee'd off right now, but think positive .... what if we get in real quality and bank £50M as well. GREAT TRANSFER WINDOW then. -
If they don't want to be at Saints, then let them go. Get ready to start buying. The selling period is coming to an end.
-
Sarnia, give it a rest mate. I've heard this song a lot in the last week. We are about to go on a spending spree. Cast your mind back 7 years when we had to sell to survive, and realise this is different. Enjoy!

Poch now interested in taking Vlaar to Spurs! (SS Transfer News) Hand off our transfer targets!

I know Penny Brown. Fortunately she is not THAT Penny Brown.

I'm 54 now and scored 22! IT's all downhill now, but hopefully I'll be through the MLC by 55!

Sky Bet News has us as favourites to sign him .... if he gets sold at all, that is.

Liverpool v Saints starting lineup...
the saint in winchester replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
I'm hearing we inserted a clause whereby Lambert, Lallana, Lovren and other players going to other clubs play the first half for us and the second half for their new clubs. We are querying with the PL whether this counts as our 3 substitutes or not. -
Aah, a man who speaks my language! Pay it, move on to the next target.

Is It Worth Even Being Mildly Successful?
the saint in winchester replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
Good OP. Sadly, we are victims of our own success. One good season, and we get asset stripped by the big boys and our players want to play there. Potential incomings (eg Caulker, based on the OP's comment) think we are a cash machine, knowing we have money in the bank, and demand unreasonable wages. Was it worth it? I'm beginning to think, no, it wasn't. ps. If Caulker really wants high wages, QPR can have him. -
So now we are 'looking to sell'? We have been looking to sell or loan out until now. That comment weakens our hand and we will be lucky to get £5M back, maybe not even £3M. I would have looked to loan him again and hope he does well. Yes, ever the optimist.

I sit in the Family Stand so let's just go for Hey dudes We're not so sad We took some young kids , and made them better And whilst Lambert will always be in our hearts The rest bring shame on Markus Liebherr
