  1. I’m assuming 1 is the worst and 12 is the best. It’s the only way your list makes any sense.
  2. I know it’s an old post but I’m always fairly surprised to read this type of thing. Then I have to remember that dyed-in-the-wool Tory voters are fairly entrenched in their positions. This approach of ‘but Labour’ has risen further and further as the main Tory attack line of recent months: ‘The asylum system is broken, we’ve had 12 years to fix it and we’ve only made it worse, but Labour have no plan to fix it’. And ‘‘The economy is broken, Trussonomics was a disaster, but Labour want to get everybody on strike and they supported a longer lockdown’. It’s an approach that gains traction with the blue base. As does the “he doesn’t know what a woman is’ diversion tactics. But I think opinion polls are showing that people are seeing through all the lies and bluster. I don’t know whether Labour will be better for the UK, but I honestly find it difficult to comprehend how they might be worse for the working people.
  3. Anyone who thought Lavia was going to play every game is living in cloud cuckoo land. He’s 18 and playing in one of the most combative areas of the pitch. He was always going to get knocks and likely suffer drops in form, just like Tino did. Diallo isn’t anywhere near a replacement and I’m yet to be convinced AMN is either. So while the injury is unfortunate, it hardly needed Nostradamus to suggest that Lavia could/should be sat out from a number of games through the season.
  4. It was exactly this, utter nonsense to say his legs had gone. He was playing in a 2 man midfield and playing 90 minutes every week because we had no-one else anywhere nearly good enough to replace him.
  5. Because in essence MLG is good people. I hope he starts posting again because he’s good value, and he shares lots of insights. He pulls people up when they spout rubbish; on the flip side he also gets called up himself when he spouts nonsense or gets things wrong. Thats to be expected, it’s a forum. If MLG is having a self-imposed exile (apart from a litany of confused emojis) then good on him, it’s his choice. Don’t get all jelly just because nobody would miss you not posting Chaz.
  6. Well he isn't "the best", is he? We managed to afford Danny Ings in the same window as Adams, and I know which one was (and probably still is) better for Saints. Previously Adams was, quite rightly, the second striker to someone better. Now he's our primary striker and that situation just isn't good enough.
  7. I think I read it somewhere, it might have been The Windmill Diaries, but sure I read that for Mick football was always his job whereas racing was his love.
  8. Channnnnnnnnoooooooooonnnnn……..you won’t see a better goal than that this season! That was marvellous!
  9. Don’t know why I’m bothering to do this. Vote if you want. Or don’t. I don’t care. Ralph out please.
  10. Let’s not go overboard. I can think of at least two games from earlier this season that we’re worse than that…
  11. AMN would be an obvious candidate, though I reckon Saints have done an agreement with him to not play him there. Payne is on the bench and, given Lyanco’s performance so far, I’m wondering if he would have done any worse.
  12. We are so utterly terrible to watch. And shit, too.
  13. I think he’s saying that Saints fans are allowed their views, but if they have certain views about someone who is no longer associated with the club then they should go and support a different football team. Maybe it makes sense to him, I’m not sure I understand the logic of it myself.
  14. Hope so. Got this horrible feeling that Crazy Charlie thinks that’s his name and hasn’t realised his, erm, heritage.
  15. Accurate report said Johnson had 59, Porky Penny 26. Zahawi has already switched. Don’t think the diving wardrobe gets to 100.
  16. Beautiful from the corrupt and utter cunt Nadhim Zahawi. At 9pm tonight. Just a few short minutes later.
  17. We can’t, she’s said she’s going to run as she thinks the members deserve it. She likely won’t get to 100 though.
  18. Her hangover tomorrow is going to be absolutely monumental.
  19. I’ve seen plenty of Arsenal fans whinging about the physicality of our defence (and that the ref let them get away with it). Good.
  20. I feel for him a bit. Well, a lot. Yes, his quality is perhaps not there, but he’s a striker who looks like he would benefit playing regularly in a two off someone like a Lambert or a Pelle (a striker who has the creative ability to drop deep, turn, and spot a run through the lines). Che Adams isn’t that, Broja wasnt really that, and Armstrong will struggle to make something from nothing on his own. He’s playing out of position and giving it his all, but I don’t think goals are going to come for him while playing where he does. Like you say, Edozie seems to have a bit more about him in terms of creativity, though AA’s workrate has been what’s kept him there.
