  1. Pulis, new 5 year contract. I'm not kidding - he'll be our best midfielder next season, you wait. (Don't hold me to this...)# Would love to bring Antonio back.
  2. No. If Kelvin had kept Green out of the team when he was injured, then neither would have gone to the World Cup, and Ben Foster would probably have gone instead. So, Kelvin not going to West Ham potentially buggered up Foster's chances. :-)
  3. It's so white - I can imagine all kinds of ketchup and mustard stains down it following the half time mauling of the hot dogs...
  4. Score prediction on this game is too tough - I think USA have overplayed their "underdog" hand a bit too much in the build up to this match, saying "There's no pressure on us so this is our easy game" always comes back to bite you in the butt. I think England will do a professional job, not pretty but enough. 2-0..
  5. I agree - my missus complained about them yesterday and I beat seven shades of shyte out of her. I'm due in court later, if I get bail, I'm going to buy a vuvuzela and shove it up her pee hole. Inconsiderate *****.
  6. I take it Liebherr don't make scissor lifts - a lack of product placement if they do...

    New Kit...

You beat me to it - nearly identical, although it was in black and white. (The TV, not the strip - I assume the strip was the same colour.)

Is it just me or does Hammond, from some angles in that video, look like Beattie? Encore une fois to be our new entry song...
  9. If it gets me £5 million, I'll claim it. (He was in a different house to me though, so I got away with it.)
  10. If we want Antonio, we will get him, simple as. He had a great season here, so I reckon the player would want to come back, we can afford to outbid Charlton should the need arise, and we all know what he can do. It's a shame Reading slapped the extension on to his contract, but it was a smart move by them, because we knew that getting him on a free would be THE best bit of business of the summer. Another years loan and a clause to sign him would be lovely - Charlton can bugger off.

Thumbs up. Simplicity is often the best way to go. As soon as they bring one out that fits the Angel of the North, I'll get one.
  12. You make it sound as if you've been burned in this way before...

  14. I supported Liverpool in the mid-80's when I started primary school, because everyone else did. I saw the light, and the light was red and white.
  15. I thought it was a shyte film. If I want to watch a good film about an orphan, I watch Oliver.
  16. My missus's. I'm a lucky man aren't I! I wish...
  17. I got a bollocking from my olds once for using that to listen to a Saints game. Cost them a fortune.
  18. Signing injury prone players.
  19. Yeah been reading a bit more into this - it definitely seems the injury problems have halted the move. Good. We no longer sign crocks.
  20. I'm sure the NOTW will find some genuine ones in due course...
  21. Waiting for Skacel to sign... or are we still waiting?
  22. That'd do - and sort out the future of that position.
  23. This is what I reckon. Our new RB, whoever he is, will be the number one - and Harding, with his effort and good footballing brain, could be the back up right back - he's already proved he can play well there. As for left backs, we're ok now, we've got Harding, Mills, and now Dickson (if we have actually signed him), plus a left footed Seaborne can play there if needed. If it were me, and I'm not saying Pards won't do this, but I'd bring in a new quality right back AND a player that can play both at RB and CB - like Thomas.
  24. Brings us back to earth a bit. Just shows we can't persuade EVERYONE we want to come to SMS. On top of that - aside from Poyet saying he'd withdrawn their contract because of interest from Saints - did we really make much of a move for him?
  25. As a back up to Lambert yes. But he won't want to play back up to Lambert. A back up to Lambert has to be a young, eager player, preferably playing in a lower league. On top of that, as has been said, he's Huddersfield through and through.
