  1. Might help if I read the question correctly!
  2. I think the new ad-hoc rule should be that if you don't post a question within 30 minutes of answering the last one correctly, then the first new question to be asked by anyone is accepted as the new question (due to people going offline for a while). Colin, what do you reckon? Keeps it flowing! (Or has muscleing in on your game docked me points? :-))
  3. Anyone working or familiar with London Underground, like myself, will know the sash signal for trains is called a Shunt signal. (Used to move trains into the depots.) Thus, I shall be cheering "Come on you Shunts" next season. I do hope I'm not misheard by a steward.
  4. Whilst I'm happy to be in third place, I'm setting up a dubious quiz panel to do some undercover snooping to find out why the creator of the quiz is currently in first place. :-)
  5. EXACTLY. In a weird, twisted roundabout way, this is very good for us potentially. Wolves want him for 2.5 mill, we agree to drop our percentage to nothing, in exchange for a cheaper signing, or loan signing of a Wolves player. Could work...
  6. Most, if not all, of which came from rumours on some dodgy website called SaintsWebForum.
  7. +1. Mid-80s, before I was a Saints fan, I had a Liverpool badge shiny that everyone wanted. I made a lot of friends with that little piece of sticky shinyness. My first school never did football, God knows why, but kids down my street used to have a kick around. Everyone liked football, and I was easily influenced, so I just followed the crowd - it was only when I started supporting Saints at age 9 that I started to LOVE football.
  8. I think this is a common thing with England fans that have no other country ties, my girlfriends also says she'd be a Holland fan if England hadn't made it.
  9. Richard Dryden. He received the ball 35 yards from goal, cut inside and curled a shot from 20 yards into the top left corner. (Actually I remembered it was Dryden, Wiki had the description of the goal!) Q: Besides letting in seven goals vs Everton, what ended Chris Woods stint at The Dell?
  10. As long as the curtain matches the drapes.
  11. Is this like Jeopardy where you give the answer and we have to work out the question? Umm......Where did Terry Paine finish his playing career?!
  12. I'll swap my point for a Cadbury's Creme Egg.
  13. If we get Portsmouth in the cup next season, and we win 3-0 with a Paul Wotton hattrick, he'll go from argues-about average footballer to Saints legend forever more. Football is a funny all game, full of sentimentality. How I'd love for us to find the "English Marian Pahars."
  14. Yes, twas an easily researchable one that! Your go.
  15. Awesome. Q: James Beattie's first England cap, whilst on our books, was against...
  16. Heaney? I just want ONE point!
  17. ...by the proper authorities...
  18. 1986-1987? EDIT:
  19. There must be some old stock in the Megastore they could spare...
  20. Dog, is this you?
  21. This one?: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tschen_La_Ling Impressive stats, I like learning things about Saints that I didn't know!
  22. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8703596.stm Irresponsible IMO. I don't have kids, but I aim to in the near future, and it baffles me how any adult cannot take proper precautions with their children. Is this just a bad error of judgement? Hope the baby makes a full recovery.
  23. My girlfriend is a Norfolk broad, and that is FACT. As for assisting you in your queries, I'm afraid I cannot help you, I'd like to, but I cannot. I would proffer a suggestion as to if it were to rain, and that is that alcohol is your friend.
  24. Teh USA are teh sex. Then I can get me some Britney Spears.
  25. A good player is a good player irrespective of whether he's getting first team football on a regular basis. Whilst you can't compare Richards and Rooney in terms of quality, if Rooney hadn't been able to be a regular for Man Utd the season just gone for whatever reason, he'd still be number one striker for England. Harsh on players that play every game who are in form, but that's life. Versatility is a good trait for an International player too, which Richards has. I think he's less error prone than Johnson, although I will admit that Johnson looked good the other night. It's a moot point, because Richards won't be going, but I do think he'll be firmly in the England set up in the years to come. As for Neville, yes he's getting on, and has had his injury problems, but he wouldn't be a bad choice at right back if necessary. He has experience in abundance of pressure situations.
