  1. Smack the kid and vote for Harding! I want him to get all the recognition I feel he deserves.
  2. Oh, driving up the M40 towards Wembley today, I got stuck behind one of the Carlisle coaches. So much swearing, middle fingers and ****** signs. I apologise for my behaviour. :-D (Actually it was them being very uncouth. Hope they enjoyed their long ride home...)
  3. Davis: 7. One or two good saves, largely had nothing to do though. Kicking was iffy. Harding: 9. My MOTM, though it is so hard to choose. Harding has a good footballing brain, and kept the right side quiet all game. All this on the wrong side of defence. Fonte: 9. Immense. A man mountain, nothing got past him. Also mops up in other positions when they're out of position. I probably biasedly just shaded Harding as MOTM than Fonte. Jaidi: 8. Again, unbeatable in the air. Looks a tad flustered when it's on the deck but still very good performance. Mills: 8. Started nervously but in the second half he really came into form. Antonio: 8. He IS quality, although at times he looks a bit lazy. Perhaps our best outlet today. Only caught his goal out of the corner of my eye as I was fixated on the Saints support. I'd watch the highlights but I'm up at 3am for work tomorrow. Wotton: 5. Was very poor IMO, tackles went astray, passing went astray. Normally does the simple things ok, but this was not his day. We missed Morgan IMO. Hammond: 7. Was seemingly doing the work of two people in midfield, crisp passing and a good work rate today. Lallana: 8. He's our dangerman IMO, some clever touches, and he and Lambert have a real understanding of where each other is going to be. Some nice one twos, and a well taken goal, though should have scored at least twice more. Lambert: 8. He was, simply, Ricky Lambert. I didn't doubt him for a second when he stepped up for that penalty. Waigo: 7. I wasn't suprised he got a goal, but his touches weren't coming off today. Doesn't work as hard as Barnard, but has got quality in his locker, it's a case of trying to get him to use it. I noticed he was milking it when he came off. Subs: Perry - glad to see him given an appearance at Wembley, especially as Fonte has kept him out the JPT team, but unrated. Gillett - 7 Actually did well coming on, had a shot which ended up going for a corner, perhaps Pards should have started him instead of Wotton, but we'll never know. Connolly - 6 Hardly had a touch. Pardew - 9 Did what he could with the players he had available.
  4. Not too regular! Auto spot next season hopefully, not play-offs.
  5. Already got my tickets. Anyone know if they'll be parading the trophy?
  6. He was very very good at times. My girlfriend's favourite player, and she's a Canary. Sign him up. And Waigo.
  7. I trod in horse shyte. Effing steeds.
  8. I heard no boos in block 524, we just booed when Carlisle buggered up the Mexican wave.
  9. Just back in from the game. (I live in Surrey) Awesome. Just awesome. It was my first trip to Wembley, and I must say it is a very impressive venue - I was so awestruck that I forgot to buy myself a programme! Damn it, will have to see if I can pick one up. All credit to the fans, you were all superb. It was a sea of red and white, the mexican waves were brilliant. Best chant of the day was inspired by Carlisle - long after the 4th goal, when we went quiet, they sang "You're not singing anymore" to which we replied "Stand Up if you're 4-0 up!" Loved it. My throat is raw now. We earned this. Performance wise, I would say it was hard going at times, Wotton was definitely the weak link in midfield, I was quite glad when he was taken off. Their midfield dominated at times, but we certainly came into it, and quickly. The penalty settled the nerves, Super Ricky Lambert was never going to miss that. He played well, but he wouldn't have been my man of the match, I'm going to be biased (as he's my favourite player) but Harding was superb again. It's so hard to give a MOTM today. The defence were great, Jaidi and Fonte won everything, Mills was dodgy at first but really came into the game in the second half. Antonio was busy, a typical "Antonio" game where he;s excellent at times, and off the pace in others. Waigo wasn't brilliant but was always seemingly in the right place at the right time. Lallana is going to be a hell of a player for us. Lambert - well he was Lambert. I'm shattered now, glad to be home, and looking forward to the Leyton Orient game on Easter Monday. COME ON YOU SAINTS....
  10. I've stopped eating sweetcorn. I love it, but it just comes out as it goes in, and it gives me a dodgy stomach too.
  11. Oh, is that the trick where you wait until your hands go numb and then 'service' yourself and it feels like someone else is doing it? :smt038
  12. Shooooooooooooooooooot!!! Thomas's as it was so unexpected. We've come to expect good goals from Lambert. I also thought Antonio's goal in the first leg at MK Dons was well taken, and important too, as it set us up for a less nervy second leg at home.
  13. Christmas? FFS how long have I been asleep?
  14. Obvious really. :-)
  15. That's what I thought! It took me ages to work out what it actually meant! Oh, I reckon it'll be 3-1 Saints.
  16. Black Pudding Haggis Sprouts Kidney Liver. I don't travel much.
  17. I must admit the O'Hara saga gave me the biggest lol of the day today. Grant: Hello Harry, we were wondering if we could play our best player against you in the FA Cup Semi Final, Jamie O'Hara, thus diminishing your chances of progressing to the final? Harry: No, **** off. Grant: Oh ok. Can you lend us Defoe? Harry: Hell No. Can you please tell Andronikou for me that Portsmouth owe me £5million. Ta chuck.
  18. SOrry bout that. If I'd have known she was back on the game, I wouldn't have done it.
  19. I needed to get it off my chest. Plus I don't really eat many sweets.
  20. You guys have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much free time...:-)

    RIP The Bill

My parents were both coppers, and they couldn't stand it. I don't like anything like that anyway, Casualty and Holby City too. My missus loves it. I don't think we have much in common...
  22. Easy ride to the final then. It'll seem like such a hollow victory if, or rather when, we win.
  23. We get Mystery Shoppers at LUL, but as I'm a good little boy and a suck up, the only time I got tested to memory, I got full marks. :-) I wouldn't mind doing Mystery SHopping myself, but I tend to panic...
  24. Love 'em, but not enough chocolate. Plus I don't even want the biscuit, just the chocolate. Might as well buy a tub of chocolate spread and dip my fingers in it. For some reason, I currently have a real craving for bacon fries.
