  1. I would like to hear Graham's views on this topic as well...
  2. I tend to sit in the Kingsland South at the back, and usually no-one is singing around me, so I tend not to sing. I've always had a touch of agoraphobia so last season was the first season I got to quite a few games, and I just don't have the confidence to sing when others around me aren't. (Irrespective of once being a chorister and singing all over the world...) Exceptions to this were in the FA Cup tie with Pompey, when everyone was singing anyway, and the Wembley game, where I didn't care if no-one was singing around me, I was 100% determined to enjoy myself and sing. I've heard of people at the ground telling others to shut up - this IMO is disgraceful, it's not the effing ballet ffs. When I can finally get to a game this season, I think I'll sit in the Itchen North, they tend to sing pretty well.
  3. Not at all - I'm hopeful of both! Neither, though, will happen.
  4. Bellamy will sign for us the day that Angelina Jolie sucks my willy.

    Sheff Wed

A few of those points penalties would certainly take the pressure off us tbf. Perhaps we should study loopholes then report Huddersfield for something!
  6. I'm stuck at work tonight, my butt is melting to the seat, and after reading this thread, I find we're involved in a dire 0-0 battle vs Bournemouth. Groovy. New signings are imperative, it's all very well signing three (good IMO) defensive signings, without signing anyone offensively. 20 days of August is too long to wait, we need someone NOW!!! (Now I've said that, we'll score and I'll look like a mug. Well, more so than I already do...) There, that's my pointless two cents, back to work. :-(
  7. I have hada blood blister for years. Every now and again, I catch it on something, it swells, pops, bleeds, dries, stings, then grows again. Cancerous? I doubt it. The fags will see to that. Moles? Pointless things, got one that looks like a third nipple, and a cluster on my nose. I'm so sexy.
  8. Cornetto McFlurry Ta.
  9. Ruddy hell. I always thought Flash was the bigger of the two....

    Toilet Rolls

I'm all for this, as long as the toilet roll isn't taken from the bogs. I vowed never to rub my pooey butt up the walls ever again.
  11. That's it, season's over. Everyone out. OMG we will walk this league. These are the stock phrases for this season. Delete whichever is appropriate.
  12. Now, Dog, now I'd take a point.
  13. Lee Molyneux lol the player those Saints fans that had seen him play labelled one of the worst footballers ever in a saints shirt and a Blue Square Premier player at best, was signed by Plymouth. Lol Attack the right!
  14. I didn't think you rated him as highly as this!
  15. My missus, the Norwich fan, lol, likes Antonio from the times we saw him play last season, and I can genuinely state I've never seen her happier about Saints potentially signing someone.
  16. Wiki should be called w+nkipedia. In fact, I think i'll edit that in myself.
  17. If we don't go up this season, touch wood, then the reality is the bigger players will up and leave. Fonte, Lambert, Lallana, Punch and Morgan will all want to be in the higher leagues this time next season, and we'll have to start afresh. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it - promotion this season is imperative. The players will know that - they'll want to get promoted with us rather than join someone else, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. As for Lallana, I really hope the management don't sell Lallana before the deadline, or in January, just to get some money for him. He's so influential, losing him at any point this season would be a major loss. Look at Jermaine Beckford at Leeds - they knew his contract was out at the end of the season but they promised they'd keep him with the knowledge that at the end of the season, if they got promoted, they could convince him to sign a new contract. He didn't. I wonder if this will prey on the management's minds with regard to Lallana, although, as has been said, we would get a tribunal fee for him anyway. I still trust in AP, but he really must be sleeping uncomfortably in his bed at night!
  18. I want to see MORE articles ruling us out. I've never been comfortable with Saints being favourites for anything, not even before the JPT final! Level-headedness in the squad is, imo, what will achieve us promotion.
  19. You might be right, think I was 43 in a 30. Though I genuinely don't remember driving that fast. Stupid, 13 mph gets me a fine and points, yet I got arrested for driving drunk one time (I really was a bit tipsy), and got let off after the two breath tests at the station, and told I could go back to my car and drive home. I have the strangest luck.
  20. Our first team is very good, it is our back up that is somewhat lacking. Injuries will happen, we all know it, and without a decent back-up we don't have strength in depth. Unfortunately, enticing players to the club knowing they'll be back ups will prove very difficult, we really relying on loans, or maybe someone on a free that hasn't been snapped up yet that fancies coming along for the ride. As for CM, it really does look weak, I get the feeling AP rates Wotton as a back up which is worrying, but I'm not forgetting that Butterfield has, and can, play in that position. When Richardson comes back from injury, it really does give us another option in that CM role, though, of course, a specialist ball winner in that spot rather than a utility player would make things that little bit more comfortable.
  21. I'm passing up on the chance to see my first 'first game of the season' in order to go on an all day drinking binge. Part of me regrets my decision already, the fact it's on Sky swayed that decision. I'll make it up to SFC through the season, I promise. :-) Looking forward to the season, the transfer activity may not have impressed some, but for me, keeping on to the star players from last season was more important that bringing anyone new in anyway. So far we've managed to do that, I hope Cortese sticks a rifle up the nose of anyone inquiring. I'm a little apprehensive about our season, we all expect success, getting promotion with flair, but as long as we do get promoted, I don't care if we grind out ugly 1-0 wins every game. The key is being in the nPC in August 2011, no matter how we achieve it. Speaking of ugly 1-0 wins, that's my prediction now for Saturday. It'll be a tough game, no doubt, and with a few of our players out, it may be tougher than we think. But, it will be a good test of our character too, an unbeaten home record this season would really give us a fantastic chance of making the top two. I hope and pray SMS is our fortress this season.
  22. Having not been born, raised or lived in Southampton, I dread to think how I'd have followed my team before these came about, aside from the many family holidays in Hampshire and the good old MOTD and 5Live. Debate keeps things interesting IMO, whether you agree with the point or not. I HAVE to look on here every day, even if very little is happening, I'd feel lost without SWF and the few crazy posts we see on it.
  23. I like the sound of the 24 hour free trail. anyone know what it is we're looking for? think I might buy an i-pad and take it to the ground to read the programme. that'll save me 3 quid!
  24. Matt Le Tissier - every club would've loved to have him. :-) Silvia Saint - Czech porn actress and a bit of a player - same reason as MLT. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silvia_Saint Burridge got around a bit, but I think EVERY league club would be stretching it...
