  1. Happy Birthday to you all. May all your desires be fulfilled.
  2. I always wished, and still do really, that I had been born about 13 years earlier, in 1967. Then I could have enjoyed the 80's properly, and I would only be 40 now, and a distinguished gentleman.
  3. Need a fit defence, some more height and pace, and a regular goalscorer if we want to avoid a relegation battle. I'd be more gutted to see these youngsters get relegated this season than I would have been had we got relegated last season.
  4. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7654430.stm Seven years and four months he's been sent to jail for. Deserved, but what an idiot. I bet he was on decent money, he could have had a good career, now, by the time he gets out, he will be past it at a footballing level. This might open the eyes of some other footballers that think they own the world because of who they are and how much they earn. (Yeah Dyer, looking at you... :-))
  5. Saw the Fly the other night, thought it was very good, although I'm sure it had more of an impact on the audiences in the 80's that it does now. Still gross in parts though. Last night I saw Caddyshack for the first time. Sadly I fell asleep halfway through it. :-(

    Spurs

I dislike Spurs, but I don't think they're in real danger yet. Pavlyuchenko is another Rebrov though from the little I've seen of him (and impact made). I'll be suprised if they sack Ramos though, as I think they'll be mid-table come the end of the season. (Although I always think it's good for the sport when a big club gets relegated...)
  7. I believe they don't get paid for appearances - the money they get paid purely depends on the boxes they open during their game. I think each player appears for an average of 25 shows, with 3 filmed a day in a 5 day week, or at least that's what I've been told. So a contestant usually spends about 2 weeks in the Bristol dream factory. I have also been told they have interviews to decide who is best on camera, so boring people don't stand a chance!
  8. Right monkey lovers, I'm off back to work with nothing but a wap-enabled mobile to keep me up to date. More Saints goals please.
  9. exit2's 1000000-0 Post Match fred looks stupid now...
  10. I'll take a 3-2 loss. :-) That'll at least sort out the goal difference. And prove we have some fighting spirit.
  11. Great minds think alike...
  12. I'm at work. I thank God I'm not watching it...
  13. I remember when our goal difference was -1. :-(
  14. Jesus! What was JP's half time teamtalk? "Go out there lads, let them score another and win 4-3?"
  15. Miracles can happen.
  16. You sound gorgeous.
  17. She doesn't move in for another two weeks! It's my little batchelor pad currently. Although I did arrange some pot pourri and a candle in a fruit bowl. Tis my feminine side coming out. (That explains the boobs...)
  18. I honestly think Coventry could turn us over despite recent results, but I'm letting the heart rule the head for this one and will say 1-1. Happy with a draw.
  19. Peter Crouch's shoe was sent to the wrong South Coast club.
  20. I have no criminal record, am generally a good citizen and like to think I was brought up well. So my parents think. If I was convicted of everything I'd done wrong, I would never again dine at a KFC. (Unless it was my last meal before I was put to death.) And no, I do not have Madeleine McCann.
  21. Today - Work til 10, then home for some power ironing and a couple of beers. Tomorrow - Work til 10, then home for some power hoovering and a couple of beers. Sunday - Work til 12. Bugger housework. Couple beers.
  22. I have 3 minutes to live, and am happy to be spending them with you guys.
  23. Being a self-confessed plastic fan... Shiftwork... Agoraphobia may be laughed at, but it's true. Worse if you have no-one else to go with!
  24. Alan Neilson was a mongrel, that's all I remember...
  25. Having supported the Saints since I was a wide eyed 8 year old, even I am embarrassed by the lack of games I participate in. The first ten years of that I blame on boarding school, but I still followed the Saints via the media, and ran up huge phone bills listening to live Saints commentary via those premium rate numbers. (Yes my parents were not impressed...) Tha last ten years, when I really should have gone, (and still anticipate on doing), have been either financial, distance or shiftwork based problems. Sounds like a giant whine, but if I lived in Hampshire and had a decent job with non-stupid hours, I would kill to go to SMS as much as possible. Being shy to the point of mild agoraphobia didn't help! (Although I'm largely over that particular affliction now!) :-D
