If you were Barca and wanted to employ a manager from PL, wouldn't you take MP over RK? There may be a connection between RK and Barca but MP is the better manager.

Absolutely no reason to think like that except for them having been named official fitness partner almost straight after Veho were named official club sponsor. The Southampton Way. On the face of it, I have always found the glitz surrounding it (or attempts at glitzing it up) a little naff and never really understood what the Southampton Way actually meant. Still don't really save for I guess Ralph knows what he is doing and the glitzyness appeals to a certain audience and is a way of selling the club.

Crooks is a little too simplistic and that anyone who scores a goal automatically has a chance of getting in. 8 of the 10 outfield players were on the score sheet.

I'd have to agree with you. Sunderland and Villa were both quite a lot better. I feel sorry for the Toon having to travel 350 miles to watch that ****e.

Interestingly though, I have seen a different approach to his play recently. Much more bite to it.
