I like the headline.... Burnley make enquiry for Southampton ace Fraser Forster ...as there seems to be a word in there that not too many would use. I think a loan would be great. If he gets his confidence back and plays well, then that's a plus for us.

The squad is quite full. You buy more players without selling and then you just end up leaving some out of your 25 man squad. Seems pointless doing that.
-
It says - Ghezzal played a bit-part role for much of the season and was unable to impress in front of the goal, contributing with just two league goals and three assists - is it BOGOF?
-
Armstrong and Davis aren't DMs. But one that I think might be better suited there, pushing him up a bit, is Jack Stephens.

Channel 95 on Freeview Celtic currently playing South Shields, so does that mean we are up at 4:55 vs OM?

I do wonder sometimes whether the likes of Charlie boy might not be better off supporting another team or none at all, rather than whinging the whole time.

Summer 2018 - Other teams Manager/transfer business

I really hate what the PL has become. -

And if we had bought someone for £24m and sold him a year later for £12m, this board would have had a melt. -
Love the modern way of tapping up players.

If you had the choice between FF and Karius, who would you take? Now FF is our keeper and he did well a while back. I hate talking about him in such a negative manner, but.......
-
Ha. We have the benefit of having really slow or zero mobile data, so I can just turn off the wi-fi if need be.
-
Or FF to Wolves? One of theirs has sadly just retired due to a battle with Leukaemia. Now just needs Sporting to "take back" Rui Patricio.
-
Offer them FF

Would you be happy with Hughes if he replicated what he did at Fulham, Blackburn, Man City and his first 3 seasons at Stoke?

Trousers, I look at my 15yo who seems to be devoid of being able to do anything that doesn't involve being attached to her mobile. When it gets taken away (we are cruel parents!), there is a lot of stroppy moping about doing nothing. I have asked many people whether our parents thought the same about us, as we do about the youth of today and it seems to always come back to the fact that now a days, they are attached to electronic devices so much. I am not as old as many hear, but in my day, we had no computers and 3 channels on TV, a lot of programmes in black and white - which made snooker quite interesting to watch (and it was quite exciting when a 4th channel appeared). I used to ride my bike a lot. My kids hardly ever do.

People jump to conclusions to suit their agenda/outlook. Most people seem to be overly negative/pessimistic, so in this case it has to be the club's fault, whether it be a bad signing or bad management.
-
Possibly/probably - I should have added that if we did sell him, it would be relatively cheap.
-
Of course to many of us they are the only team in the world. I have no interest in any other and if I stop supporting Saints (well, I'll never do that - more if I give up going), I would never follow another club save for maybe these lot - http://www.bashleyfc.org.uk/ I do find the taunts by people of "you support a **** team, my team is so much better" to be a rather strange one. I'm sure Saints is ****tier than a lot of teams, but I ain't going to flounce off and support someone less ****ty than us. But the passion for us in the PL this season, just isn't there. I of course will go to as many games as possible, as I have bought the STs and it gives me time away from the wife.
-
I suspect we will sell him cheaply, and the signing club will give him a good signing on fee in lieu of wages.
-
This is how I see it, without knowing any other facts other than what we can all see from the way we played and the results. You've got to look at Palace and see how decisive they were with FdB. 4 league games, where the players didn't buy into his methods, and he was gone. I suppose one could look at it and think it was the "honourable" thing to do to support the manager, but of course that was plainly the wrong thing. But I do think that we were in a somewhat different situation than Palace. The owner who was in place when he was appointed didn't have a huge amount of interest in anything other than selling the club. I know that it is easy to blame Reed for all the ills that have recently happened, but I very much suspect (again without knowing anything that went on behind the scenes) that he had a hand tied behind his back and was told to work within a very strict budget. I presume Pellegrino was a cheap option.

Strange, but I really am devoid of any excitement at the anticipation of the new season. In fact I think I might regret renewing. May be it is a passing feeling!!

Fulham have done a 2 year loan. Richarlison.....it seems that the huge fee did not include any compo for the Silva affair, as Watford are ramping up looking for some. Fair play to them. -

Usmanov noises about selling his 30% stake in Arsenal. Wonder whether he will be picking up from his frontman at Everton, or maybe he already has? If so, it will be interesting how he swings that one. Guess he could buy Moshi out, which would be like paying himself.
