GDP can be estimated at any time. There has been a marked drop in growth over the last 6 months at least so that equates to lower government income.

The drop in GDP and resulting fall in government revenues far outweighs any contribution we make to the EU. The referendum build up has already resulted in a drop which which would have paid for next year's contributions.
