Correct, that would be 3rd qualifying round on 28th July/4th August and then play-off 18th & 25th August. If palace lose then group stage 15th September etc.

If Liverpool win they go straight into next season's Champions' League without costing anybody else a place. There is a slot reserved for the winners of this season's Europa League no matter which country. If Liverpool lose then they get nothing next season. Nada, nichts, niente, rien, sweet FA, sod all. I know which I would prefer.
