4) The vast majority of those season tickets were sold before a ball was kicked. Next season is going to be different. Do not underestimate the disillusionment amongst the previously loyal supporters. They say that once you give up your season ticket you don't get another. If Martin is still here expect a stampede.
-
I seem to remember him saying a couple of years ago that he had a season ticket at Bournemouth.
-
It wouldn't matter who we had up front. Under Martin we never get up there quickly enough.
-
It looked on target from where I was sitting. Whatever, he should never have had the time and space to take it. We also have to consider the rest of the game.

It's anti-football.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?
Whitey Grandad replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
Nobody ever stops to consider where the money is going to come from to build these homes. 300,000 extra a year at average prices must be around £75billion a year to get from somewhere. -
I can't see how you can say that Ipswich didn't deserve a draw. As firctheir equaliser we gave them the freedom of our penalty area and invited them to have a shot.

At least one of those is easily avoided. Unless your mother in law is a fan of EastEnders in which case you're well and truly fooked.

That's diabilical.

Practice makes perfect... ...failure.

Just a reminder here that PSR stands for 'Profit and Sustainability Rules' and not 'Turnover and Spending'. As the old saying goes, Turnover's vanity, Profit is sanity.

"More than capable"? Capable perhaps.

Traders gotta trade. Without transfers their income is reduced.

I have never argued for Potter.

And you somehow think that our case would be similar? Any planning enquiry is out of the hands of the Local Authority.
-
More than the current amounts? Don't bank on it. Especially in the lower divisions.
-
Because of the unnecessary goals that we have conceded. Plus the fact that we might, just might, actually try to have a shot at the other goal.
-
What about the planning enquiry?
-
So let's say 10k seats at a net £400 a year, if that (don't forget VAT). That's a whopping extra £4m a year.
-
That does nothing to reduce the timescales.
-
There is a lot more to expanding a stadium than just adding some extra seats. There are many planning hoops to jump through.
-
Oh dear. We might be favourites for the playoffs but promotion is a long way above that. I think you may have got carried away by last season. It wasn't as great as you might think.
-
These plans were much more ambitious that that. Besides, have you considered when the break even point might be reached for a stadium expansion?
-
Where have I ever said that? Martin is on higher pay than you might think but even so it wouldn't cost that much to employ someone more pragmatic who doesn't have an ego which is bigger than the club. You are right though that more of the same idiotic football will not make any difference.

Large infrastructure projects have a long timescale.
