Yep. To stop those a keeper has to get lucky. Even the best wouldn't stop them all. Maybe 30 to 40%.
-
I'm saying that playing with a lonely striker is not going to be very successful. Did I mention Adam Armstrong?
-
He's not worth what we paid. In actuality he's only worth what someone will pay for him.
-
That's because xG is wrong in our case. It's based on other teams and not one that includes our players.
-
Too close to him. It's passed before before any human can react. That's why you see so many shors go through a keeper's legs.
-
It's called haggling.
-
Not much point if there's nobody around to witness it. I must admit that I have been getting very angry of late for so many reasons that I don't think I'll ever run out of provocations.
-
When he came on Mads did the usual new boy trick of always passing the ball backwards to safety instead of trying a ball behind their back line. On Saturday I had to keep counting their players because I couldn't believe that they only had ten on the pitch.
-
I'd rather he made the changes before kick-off.

Depends which post

"Crossed the line"? About the one-third point but that's not really relevant and only to be expected given the origin of the shot.
-
I never thought he was but performances and results are starting to be a reason for concern. Just raised eyebrows at the moment but let's see how things develop.

Oops I typed 'denuded'. If this is Artificial Intelligence then humanity is doomed. More games were on the grass than in the stands.

Some of the arguments on here completely ignore the fact that the attacker has a choice in where he places his shot and assume that shots come at the goalkeeper at random. If Bazunu had been standing in a different position then Thomas would have adjusted his shot accordingly. This is not Sunday morning football where the attacker just puts his head down and leathers it.
-
I doubt he'd be receptive and how the players have done in training has no bearing on how they perform under the spotlights. Like a lot of others on here, I have had the experience of being involved in several thousand games but that's nothing compared with over a century of football experience. Formations come and go and fashions change but denuding your midfield is rarely a good idea.
-
I've not written him off just yet but neither have I seen anything to give me hope.
-
It would help if they ever got some game time. Starting a game at home with a packed defence and a lone striker is abject capitulation.
-
It proves nothing of the sort. Where, in your opinion, should he have stood? I think it was too close to him for him to get down to it. He might have done better but there wax a lot more wrong with defending that goal than just him.
-
He has made changes but he shouldn't have needed to had he started off with the correct formation.
-
You forgot BBD. If you can't get something out of that strike force then you're in the wrong profession.
-
You got it. All Stephens had to do was put his foot in the way. He's a lot closer. He used his wrong foot. I can only assume that you've never been a defender.
-
When he tries to look serious he just looks like a Grumpy Trumpy
-
More are lost than won in my opinion.

He should change his formation before the kickoff. Not after half time.
