In most cases that I have seen the TV replays have not proved the referee to have been incorrect, I have often maintained that seeing something through a remote lens in slow-motion does not give you a true interpretation of the incident. Some of these players have spent many hours practising their simulation and it needs a good close-up view in 3-D real time to detect this. You are right that it easier not to make a decision and be thought wrong than to give one that may have a more influential outcome. There was an article in The Times recently describing this. I think they called it the sin of omission rather than commission.

I'm just making a comparison, I didn't offer an opinion. There are differences in that Prescott was caught egg-handed on video whereas this incident is still in the world of the unsubstantiated.

They're only controversial because the media try to make them out to be worse than they are. There are very rarely the obvious howlers but these are few and far between.

You're quite right, I cannot find any official reference to this supposed requirement at the moment but a few months ago I found a couple of mentions of it in the newspapers. My apologies, sorry if I have misled anybody.

His son has been living and working with him for some time. He also helped to raise her child from a previous relationship that she already had when she met him. I don't beleive she has been chasing the other fathers of her children for more money. This case has only got this far because he is funding both sets of lawyers, against his will. From what I can see the case now needs to go to the Family Court to determine how much, if anything, she should receive.

How so? I stand by what I wrote. The basic fact is that those poor fans who were crushed were crushed by other fans behind them. Always find somebody else to blame.

I knew that I think he's the best of a bad bunch. These are politicians and all that goes with it. His job is more of a chairman than a managing director and he has to keep control of a collection of rogues and shysters with enormous egos. I've met quite a few of these MPs in the course of my dealings and whilst some of them have been decent people trying to get things done they're all banging their heads against a wall.

You don't have to like a PM, it's not a popularity contest. At least, it shouldn't be.
