Totes agreed. I was in Itchen North corner and I couldn't understand a word. Bald fellow shouting into the microphone din't help at all. The music seemd ok so perhaps the incompetent in question should be taken quietly to one side and given lessons, or shot or something.

Not really. Those at the front of the queue would have got there more than an hour before the kick-off. There's nothing new about going to a game and paying cash to go in. 40 years ago we used to do it all the time with crowds of over 50,000 and pay on the turnstiles.

Sorry, of course you're not. In order to get the maximum brightness out of these LEDs they run them at the maximum current possible which means they tend to run hot and need special device packaging to get rid of all the heat. The hotter any electronic device gets the more unreliable they generally become but LEDs in particular suffer from various progressive degradations and lose brightness over time. That's if they don't fail altogether. They're getting better though The ones we use are for electronic signage and are driven at more sustainable currents which is what I meant when I said that these were over driven.

I use tens of millions of LEDs a year and mine are not the over-driven lighting type. They'll go dim.

Yeah, I queued for over half an hour to get my ticket and got to my seat 14 minutes in. Despite it being cash sales with no choice of seat they were still taking 1:25 to 2:00 minutes to serve each customer. The queue stretched back to the Chapel car park when I was being served. Then spent the first half jumping up and down whilst the rest of those behind me in the queue dribbled into their seats and then the 10 minutes before half time getting up and down whilst the alcoholics rushed down to the bar and the little kids wanted daddy to take them to the toilet. The last 20 minutes of the game were just as bad as they all decided to go home early. And I had a little bored brat behind me kicking my seat all the time. As for the game, I was so far up in the Itchen-Northam corner in seat CC3 that I couldn't actually recognise any players.
