  1. As a Season Pass holder at Hull FC Rugby League, we are able to exchange unused vouchers for additional (like for like) match tickets at a later date.
  2. Abandonments are pretty rare these days, it would need a blanket of pea-soup fog to descend or rain or snow of biblical proportions to abandon the game. Usually if a game is in danger it would be postponed prior to kick off. I know that it sounds a bit mean not getting a full refund for an abandoned game but if the game goes ahead for any amount of time, all of the stadium costs have to be met (i.e. stewarding, police, catering etc.).
  3. Good to see Storrie's gone off to Aus on holiday. That's real dedication to the cause! Unless, of course, the rumours about gardening leave were true?
  4. Much too sensible. TBH This has become a bit of a farce, in that to get the 3rd tranche, we are supposed to have already sold-out the second. A bit difficult if they haven't arrived yet.
  5. Much more interesting question is, did Stevo's Mrs' "soothing hands" go south?
  6. I very much doubt we'll be signing anyone in time to play in this game. The window will only have been open 24 hrs and I doubt the administration staff at the FA are working New Years Day, in any case.
  7. For the same reason they took close to 40.000 fans to Wembley. A return to the glory days for them. They are potentially a much bigger club than their ground, finances or circumstances allow and any reason to jump on a glory band wagon their fans are going to take. I don't think they'll bring the full 4.6k allocation but certainly wouldn't be surprised to see them sell-out the normal 3.2k away section.

  9. Result just up on Sky videprinter. QPR 3 Saints 1.
  10. Unashamedly plagiarized from the Tranmere forum The Cowshed for no other reason than I thought it was a good idea. As we come to the end of the first decade of the new millennium, how about an awards ceremony, starting from Saints related to the whole of sport. I know the "naughties" has been a generally sh!t decade for us (well the second half) but there has been some highlights - Cardiff anyone? Southampton Best league game? Best cup game? 11. Sorry, I just don't think he's very good. He's had ample opportunity under half a dozen managers to nail down a first team place. At 24 he is no longer a promising youngster and if he can't get in the team now, then he's never going to get in the team. I won't be losing too much sleep about us selling him on.
  12. Stoke look like they started theirs from scratch on the Michelin sports ground near Newcastle-under-Lyme. Their plans look very similar to what we are proposing but do include a hydrotherapy pool. Our proposals though are nowhere near the size and expense of Chelsea's Cobham training facility nor the proposed Tottenham scheme. Property prices will vary for all of these schemes and I would thing the land costs at Cobham would be much higher than Marchwood but in the Potteries much lower.
  13. Unless it was a signed/framed Ron Davies original, of course!!
  14. Don't think Storrie bothers about tax bills.
  15. Sorry, my mistake! Forgot we'd already played them at home.
  16. Should name that show "Double P" Factor! P!SS POOR!!!
  17. The 18,000 is Exeter sales for Boxing day's game. If we'd sold that many already for Tranmere they would expecting a lot more than "19/20,000" on Saturday.
  18. They also managed to get good free advertising on the LSE web-site over the last few years too. The company address was never updated after they pulled out.
  19. Averages 11/12th place. That would do for me TBH.

  21. I think both are true. The Half season ticket would have started against Brentford on 2nd Jan, which has been postponed, so now Huddersfield, the week after. However, I'm pretty sure you are able to add games (2 left I believe) prior to that at a pro-rata additional cost.

After the thread on the '76 cup run and who went to every game. I did it on this cup run, including the final (which unfortunately Saints didn't manage to match).

Liverpool had David Fairclough to come off the bench. We had David Puckett!
  24. I think it's currently 38,000. That's the number the media was quoting at the weekend.
  25. Only Lallana and Schniederlin reckon and they're borderline.
