If we take averages over the last 16 seasons 82 points would be enough to get a team promoted. There is the odd blip when 90 points or 87 points have been only good enough for 3rd place. We need 46 points to get to 82 from 30 games. That is only a shade over 1.5 points per game, currently what we are getting away from home. I think we will probably need 84 or 85 points but from this position we have a great chance. So yes I believe!!
