After today's performance I have to say I agree. apart from his long distance shot towards the end of the first half he was absolutely woeful. Today proved that we definitely need at least one more striker and it was a mistake not to go for one in the loan window.
Thinking about this, my guess is that he has actually given up any hope of getting any of his money back from PCFC2010 and thinks he is more likely from one of CSI's more saleable assets, like their yachting and motor racing interests.
It's easy to say that the holding company debts and that of the football club are not linked but surely when they took on the club they took on the terms of the previous CVA? The football club were trading whilst being insolvent before the take over and signed players they couldn't afford, since. This must have had an affect on CSI Miami going bust and without their money the club is back to trading insolvent AFAICS.
Will he perennially be mentioned in the Transfer Deadline?HCDAJFU threads in 5 years time when he's banging the goals in for Burnley/Doncaster/Coventry.
But most state schools haven't had christian assemblies for years! My step son doesn't even know the words of the Lords Prayer or any of the hymns we had to sing in our day. Might be better reinstating those than spending over £1/3 Million on a book with his name in it.
Just turned over to SNN and heard this news. A complete shock! He always looked fit enough to still be playing. RIP and condolences to his family and to the Welsh FA for whom he was doing a great job, by the way!
And you would have about 7,000 people cramming into what would now be left of a very dilapidated Dell, watching lower league football, with no money and no prospects. At least they'd all be 'ard men though, eh?
This attitude really gets my goat! Why is anything trying to appeal to the local population, who are not general football going folk, cringeworthy? It's about having pride in your city and a successful football team is part of that. Why not shout it from the rooftops?!!
