But what are the views of the majority - and how do you find them out? In the first post you tag him as speaking as the voice of SFC fans, and now you say he continually gives his own opinions. You may think that the majority of fans are against Lowe, but how do we actually know this. How many people were at the game on Saturday 15000, but only 3 - 400 saw fit to actually demonstrate against Lowe after the match, was this the majority. As Steve said - NI makes himself available to press sources for interviews - he has to give a balanced view in order to keep credibility, and it is very difficult to know everybodies personal opinion and air it.
-
Whether you agree or disagree with what NI has said, I think that one point has been totally overlooked. It appears to me that the only person who has actually acknowledged him as a 'Spokesperson for many' (and therefore voice of the fans) as opposed to an 'individual expressing an opionion' is the originator of this thread..! Had the originator entitled this thread 'NI's View' or something similar perhaps the debate wouldn't be quite so heated. I agree entirely with Steve, in that Nick is only expressing his view - he is not claiming to speak for anybody other than himself. Quite simply it is we, not he, who have (correctly, incorrectly, stupidly, ill-advisedly, short-sightedly) labelled him as 'the voice of SFC'. Agree or disagree with the views that he has expressed as is your wish - but don't make assumptions as to who he is expressing his views for.

You need to be in a winning position before you think about 'shutting up games' - we rarely are...!

Thanks for commenting on my post, unfortunately I don't feel able to afford you the same courtesy as I suspect you may be a PR plant...!!!

Sounds like a good plan so far - we are going to stop Rupert going to games right - then what...???

David Armstrong called for a boycott by the fans last night

Have to agree - amongst all of the chaos, posturing and finger point that is currently going on, and while we all (in the main) want Lowe gone - none (that I have heard) has actually thought about this. Who is likely to want to step into the breach and try and turn this club around. Lowe out by all means - but who in..???? -
To be honest, the way the Premiership is at the moment anyone from about 8th down could get relegated. I don't think either Spurs or Pomp will go to be honest. I fear that Hull may go into freefall after a great start and could start to feel the pressure of the top league - it's been a while since they had a result too.

Why bother with the effigy - can't we just use the real thing instead... I'll help....!!! -
A PR plant. Right so that would be a professional Publics Relation company paid to come on here and do what exactly. Try to brainwash us all into thinking that the club is running smoothly, nothing to worry about and everything is going to plan. How on earth is a PR plant going to make any real difference to the thoughts of some 150 - 200 staunch supporters who frequent a message forum. We all have our individual opinions about what is happening at SMS these days and anybody who is swayed from that by some PR body must surely be lacking in intelligence. I have no doubt that perhaps club people will check this forum out, perhaps on occassion even post, but lets be honest - no PR plant is going to come here and brainwash us that there is no problem at SMS. PR plants - or whatever you want to call them - bring them on.

If we are honest it would be a major blow to lose Kelvin now. That said, if he chose to walk he could do so at least knowing that he had tried and gave it his best shot. There would be no disgrace in his departing now - he has nothing to regret. Others though, perhaps should take a long hard look at themselves.
-
And is your Dad ITK or just speculating...???
-
Not really - had we won 3 nil then perhaps the fighting and rioting would not have happened. Afterthought: us win 3 nil... ummm I'll get my coat.....
-
Problem being if we are that far adrift by the time Lowe acts, it makes it all the more difficult for a new man do get us out of the poo. Personally I think we are dead and buried right now...
-
Eric Van Teutal for me - he's a Dutch coach used to getting the best out of young players.... errr then again - maybe not...!!!
-
Verbal jousting all very acceptable Ponty - nobody is going to get a broken jaw sitting at thier keyboard (which explains why I am such a brave bastard). But 'in fighting' in the stadium - really shows how low we have sunk.
-
I reckon there might also be a few first team players available as well, BWP, JE etc.... "Roll up, roll up get your very own CCC players here, rarely used, (effectively)..."
-
No sweat mate - most of us are gutted tonight and it's going to take one almighty miracle to get out of this dung heap now. As I said - I have resigned myself to relegation. I am but an armchair fan and so have only seen the televised games - but those alone have convinced me that we just do not have the quality required. I am a little hacked off that many actually reported early season that these kids would come good. From what I have seen - I see little sign of them being able to hack this league. Maybe not their fault - but next season will be even harder - we will be the team that everybody wants to beat, and lets face it - that aint too hard to achieve right now!
-
2nd best to what apparently was a poor Donny side - it doesnt get any worse really does it? New grounds again next season travelling saints...!!!
-
Thanks Mike - would appear that we basically deserved what we got then - zilch...!! I wonder how this will effect things between now and the end of the transfer window as well - if we start to loose the likes of Kelvin, the season could become total embarrasment.
-
Errrr I didn't say any of those things for which you 'credit' me - I am just trying to substantiate how we played - it appears most of the comment here are from those who were not at the game. You need not bother reminding me about our predicament - I am well aware of that - as my previous post proves. If it makes it any easier for you - I didn't expect our league form to be much from what we are currently displaying. I expect us to be relegated - we have neither the players or management structure to do much else - if by some miracle we do manage to avoid it then that is a bonus. Perhaps now that you have ranted at me - we might discover just how the team played today - as I have asked on another thread was the performance shyte or just the result?
-
Did you ....?
-
Amongst all the hysteria currently occupying most threads on this board - I wonder if this comment is actually nearer both the truth and the facts?
-
I was out until the last 10 minutes - was the performance shyte or just the result..???
-
Did we play well...??
