Yeah there was the occasional thread worth reading - there was some guy SFC76 (or something like that) that appeared to basically start most of the threads and then other poster contributed. I am actually a member of the forum - but as I say - didn't use it too much due to it's limited subject matter. Personally I think there is room for other forums to discuss SFC matters - but they need to have their own agenda, topics for debate and style. Errr just went on there - there are about 8 topics of discussion and this is one of them: http://foreversaints.1talk.net/forever-saints-f1/is-anyone-else-disillusioned-with-the-other-forums-t5.htm As I said - they need to forget other forums and get on with promoting thier own site if they want 'heavy traffic' to contribute on a regular occurance.

No blinkers here and certainly no 'anti-american blurb' (whatever that may be). I was merely highlighting the fact that you constantly appear to be trying to flog us kids from the MLS. I'm not too sure though that our Dutch friend will be very flush with cash at the moment as Rupes appears to be holding the strings quite tightly. Even if he were to look overseas - methinks a Dutch coach is more likely to start to poach players from his 'home' league as opposed to looking over the pond at those available in the good old US of A. I'm sure you have some promising kids there - but you will always suffer from the '4th sport syndrome' behind American Football, Baseball and Basketball - therefore I believe that most european coaches will look to Europe for talent.

Guess I'd just as well be the first to point out that so was WGS....

Yep - if your a guy - no dresses.... HTH

Errrr nobody made any assumptions - they just posed questions based on this and the originators many previous posts on similar subjects.

One of the strangest forums I have ever visited - seemed totally preoccupied with trying to 'put down' this site and it's posters, whilst they seemed to have no more than a handful of posters contributing to their own forum. The most activity that I saw on there was from posters here who went to moan that they had been temporarily barred from here - it was almost like this sites very own detention room. Strange place - could of worked as an alternate Saints forum but really just looked like a place where a few people went to vent their rage.

Are you on commission - it appears that every other post you make is attempting to flog dodgy US players to us. Your an agent right... do you know LLS perchance...

Whilst I have to disagree with MM in that I don't think that anybody is above critisism, I would concur that both AL and DMG are young professionals learning their trade. Added to that they have both been thrown in the deep end due to the mess that we are currently in. Those who do critisise them though should perhaps think back a season and remember the sort of stick that KD took on here - who would want to be without KD this season - not many. Perhaps MM has a point and these young players time is yet to come - problem is, where will SFC be when they finally start to produce the goods consistently.

Ahhhh the old early Christmas wind up and bit of baiting from the usual suspects. Nothing like trying to 'drive the wedge' to it's fullest into the fanbase in order to prove.... errr what exactly.... that we don't get 15000 at away matches. No s h i t Sherlock - big deal. Seasons Greetings to you all - move on.
-
Agreed 100 percent - lets not have anybody else from the club 'talking the talk' until they can (collectively) 'walk the walk'. The fans deserve much better then the current 'fare' - time to either 'put up' or 'shut up'.
-
Ahhhh name calling - I used to rise to that when I was a kid in the playground in the late 60's. I see you are long out of the playground yourself - why stoop to their level, no point whatsoever, unless of course you want to join them in the gutter then sobeit. Personally though, I thought - your point was cogent - your delivery tactless.

Unfortunately your logic is a little flawed though. Point 1 - administration would in no way guarantee the end of Rupert Lowes involvement in this club. You only have to look 20 miles down the road to see the proof of that. Point 2 - the only fresh start that we would get is that any appointed administrators would insist on even more cost cutting measures and probably sell what little 'asset' we currently have in order to try to settle at least some of our debts. Point 3 - there should be no reason why the fan base is devided now - not if we support the club properly. But it would appear that many on here believe it is our god given right to be in the Premiership, unfortunately no club holds that stature. As fans we should be supporting those 'idols' who wear the shirt and not be concerned with those 'faces' that pull the strings. You may well wish administration upon us - that is your perogative, but don't for one minute think it will be an automatic fix to the problems that you list - it won't and it could actually make a bad situation much worse. Administration - a huge gamble (IMHO) - but hey, it's your call.

I actually agree whole heartedley with your sentiments. Unfortunately your point is going to be lost on most due, mainly, to the crass manner in which you have chosen to air it. You appear to have some anger issues which may benefit from professional help, and if successful might help you to convey your points in a more appropriate manner.

This point has actually accurred to me on a few occasions over the course of the last couple of weeks. Why we are worrying about losing any of this team (apart from KD) is quite frankly baffling to me. Let's face it, none of the players are actually setting the world on fire - we havn't scored in donkeys years and we look miles away from actually being able to win a game. It wasn't too many months ago when many posters on here were telling us just how wonderful our young players are and that they would easily compete in this league - where are those posters now - strangely silent. The problem we have now is - not many of our youth appear to be putting up a case for 'promotion' to bigger clubs, and our proven goalscorers are out on loan and probably to expensive to play. We are stuck with these youth players who appear to be wildly out of their depth at this level - the future is bleak to say the least.

'In the bleak midwinter....' and boy is it bleak - will be very interesting to see what those who were there thought of the game....
-
Personally I dont think the conversation would take place until Keane had ragged his lazy ass around the training ground for a week solid. From the little I've seen and what I've heard - DMG is a man who readibly believes his own headlines - time for a good kickin' and reality check methinks.
-
I doubt it - most people will acknowledge that that was a pretty dire performance and a game we should not of lost. I'm no Lowe luvvie (whatever that might actually mean) but the constant baiting by some on here is more than a little childish. We have much more important matters to debate other than whether you are a 'Lowe Luvvie' or not.
-
So how much further do you think that we will fall before we bottom out....??? Blue square anybody...???
-
Would love to see RK here - not for the football - but just to get ripped into some of these players and explain what it means to the average 'working man' in the street. So much for the 'pride' - where the hell did that go?
-
You never miss a chance to give people a dig do you.... forget the 'Luvvies' as you put it - the whole fanbase will be hacked off about this result.
-
So did I - but after this one I'm shyttin' myself over Man U - could do some of our players some serious confidence damage...
-
Got to ask yourself how much further we have to fall until we hit rock bottom...???
-
Can't see us getting ourselfs out of this mess without some help from other teams now.... I just don't see that we have the balls for this fight.
-
One of your now famous 'over reactionary' comments...!!!
-
We are in the mire now guys - time to break out the plastic pants methinks....!!!
