Well, if some asked me how we'd played over the last three games, I don't think my reply would be "very well". So, I stick to saying we aren't playing very well. But I agree we have some real strengths to our game. And I think we might be able to bulldoze our way through the last few games. Our 2nd half performance today wasn't bad at all. If our central midfield could up their game a bit, I think we might just start to click. Getting Lallana back would be a boost too. I'm sure we would have won today with some ease if he'd been on the pitch.

I'd start with Connolly unless the medical advice is that he really can't last for more than 30-45 minutes. If Barney's out for the season, we're down to just three recongised strikers - including Guly. Who is probably the most frustrating player I've seen in a Saints shirt. Amazing natural ability, but still manages to look sh1t quite a lot.

Genuine congrats to Brighton, they have had a fantastic season and are very worthy winners of the division. They had one minor dip in form all season. Their overall record is outstanding. All that said, I'd probably only make them narrow favourites on Saturday. We really do have a good chance of getting something out of the game.

What total garbage. If we win 4 of our last 5, we are 100% promoted. Most likely, we will go up in 2nd with a lower return than this. It's not in the bag, but is in our own hands. We aren't playing very well just now, but we only need to overcome some fairly mediocre opposition to get promoted. The return of David Connolly could be crucial. He was superb today, and I presume he now needs to start alongside Lambert if Barnard is out until next season.
