That sir is a very, very good point of course we'd need a loan for development. (Not saying that this is what it's for mind.)

What supporting the Saints means to you?
farawaysaint replied to aussiesaint20's topic in The Saints
Not really fair it is exactly the same in Africa, everyone supports one of the big 4 as they get all the coverage. Recently on the radio when in fourth I remember them reading out the positions as follows: Arsenal: 1st Liverpool: 2nd Chelsea: 3rd Aaaannnddd Man U:9th Needless to say, I was quite peeved. I also had an interest in Man U when smaller due to the coverage they get but my Dad thankfully put me on the straight and narrow to the team he's always supported. -
We want José Fonte in the Portuguese National Team!
farawaysaint replied to JoséFonte6's topic in The Saints
A pleasure, he's gotten better and better this season I'd like José to get a call up as another of our players who has paid his dues and proven his worth. -

We have Wanyama now, the most frustratingly awful and yet wonderfully brilliant player I've seen for us in a long time. Must be a candidate for the strongest player in the league surely? The opposition have to hate playing him as he's a mean bugger in the tackle and throws his weight around. He is brilliant to watch though when he sets his sights on a man and freight trains them into oblivion If we can just coach a passing game into him (he is only 22) then he'll be an unstoppable wrecking ball of a player.

While I agree with the sentiment in general, Clyne didn't have a great game today? Consistently good though and deserves a call up.

Seeing as no one else is doing it... Congratulations to the lad, I hope you have a long and successful career. -
The Vman is away this weekend and cannot help us, we're back to the days of idle speculation about the team and tactics.

Very nervous that Boruc will be out. Super Kel is great backup but definitely low on match practice and I imagine very low on confidence, I'll cheer him to victory regardless.

How to handle a woman...or a young footballer?
farawaysaint replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
The title is soooo tenuous David Is it really necessary to mention the musical? -
I want to see Wanyama vs Fellaini, smacking each other over the head and giving the ball away... Don't you dare try and take that away from me.

I think incentives to attract potential fans that could support the club for years to come are a brilliant idea. The club should make every effort to attract supporters and retain them as stagnation and isolation are all too common in football where fans can get shafted by their clubs on a regular basis.

Not really fair, we played very well against Liverpool and the Baggies, well against West-Ham and Palace and poorly against Sunderland, Swansea and Norwich. It's been a mixed batch but we're hardly playing poorly all the time we're just as likely to turn out an amazing performance as a dire one at the moment IMO.

Oh come on don't nitpick "I had a conversation with his son Jamie, who I am close to, and said 'send my best to your dad and if he gets the job, we will all support him'," added Gerrard.

Ah Dani, it's very simple... False things write because English press bottomfeeders.

I'm his biggest fan but even I will admit that this isn't the case.

I shall be cheering on the holy goalie and Lambert in equal measure.
