Just been speaking to my contact at Spurs. They're starting to give up on signing Schneiderlin and are now actively pursuing 2 other targets, one being Song. We're not willing to do business for less than £27 million. Les also ****ed them off with the offer of a straight swap for Townsend and Sandro (Sandro not interested anyway). So Townsend is basically a no go without Morgan going the other way. My personal opinion is that we're in for some late drama on deadline day.

Fair point. My personal opinion when we signed Pelle was that it's a massive gamble. His record elsewhere looks very poor. However, things worked out for him at Feyenoord and they still can for us. Let's give him 10 games before writing him off. We'll be bottom 3 by then so he needs to get firing sooner rather than later

Quite simply, we need another wide player. We're not going to create a lot with Morgan, Wanyama, Davis and JWP all in the same starting 11, hopefully RoKo will have already noticed this.

He's well overhyped on here. I've never rated him, he's a championship player at best. All I hear about is his dead ball delivery, yet I'm sure his goal and assist stats make for poor reading. He is far too lightweight and doesn't have the ability to mix it at this level. I

Have to agree with most of the comments on here. Wasn't expecting us to perform so well. Still think we are 2 players short of breaking into the top half, but there's no doubt we will pick up plenty of points playing like that. Was very impressed by Bertrand and Tadic down the left, Tadic has plenty in his locker and will create and make things happen. Pelle was largely anonymous, but he was isolated up top and so difficult to judge him. I will give him the first 10 games before writing him off. It's absolutely vital we keep Morgan, him and Big Vic in the middle have the ability to dominate any other team, Wanyama was everywhere, MOTM by a mile. I was critical of him last year but this season I feel he will be our best player. He broke down the play so many times and that was shown by the fact that Liverpool created very little, which makes it even more disappointing that we concedes twice. All in all, a positive performance, but we need to get some points on the board, starting next weekend. This side will get better and I have faith in RoKo that we can have another good season. Just need to get to September one

Yeah I'd rather they came out with a load of **** so we can prove them wrong. The problem is a lot of pundits and journalists are just lazy and poorly informed. I'm sure none of them have been keeping up with goings on this summer like many of us have. Swansea's side looks decent, if they keep Bony I think they'll finish top half. Have just seen world class player and pundit Robbie Savage tipping us to also get relegated

Boruc needs to man the **** up, didn't expect this childish behaviour from him. A bit of competition should spur him on to train harder and perform better. He had an easy ride last season and was never in danger of losing his place. It may seem harsh on him, but you can guarantee someone like Kelvin Davis wouldn't act like this in the same situation.
