KL does not have a passion for the football club. Krueger, rather disastrously was brought in to "front" a passion and an impression of "everything is in control". That backfired, big time. Reed has a cushy number and won't rock the boat - he'll rather sit there and watch the dismantling, keep schtum and keep his job. They're all very much to blame. Their communication skills (or lack of) is well documented and their is no ambition anymore with regards to the league. Their strategy is what you can see in front of you - sell anything that's not bolted down and replace with players who will hopefully step up under a headline name as manager. Hat's off to Koeman if he keeps us up. Morgan up next. At least we got our stripes back, eh?

Been saying it since Cortese left, browse my posts since then. I do owe an explanatory post, i know that, but my previous posts over the last few months pretty much sum it up.

West Brom 17. Hull 18. Swansea 19. Leicester 20. Burnley Footnotes; Arsenal will be genuine contenders til Feb, then fade again. Man Utd will be resurgent but Chelsea too strong. Man City just will misfire far more with bigger emphasis on Champs League performance. Spurs will do well but slip away in the last two months from 3rd to 6th. Liverpool won't hit the heights of last year (obvious, that). Improved seasonal performances from Newcastle, West Ham and Stoke. Palace will surprise again and QPR will be solid this time. West Brom, despite the appointment of Alan Irvine will actually do OK, bog-average. Swansea and Hull will struggle, the latter because of the Europa and the former because I don't think Garry Monk can but it. Swansea will be awful but replace him and have an upturn - but not enough to keep them up. Burnley will be popular because of Dyche and their style (think Blackpool in the Prem) but will still go, as will Leicester - who'll not score enough goals (not concede many, but still not score enough to keep them above water) and play dull, turgid football under Pearson.

Everyone says not good enough without ever seeing him given a,chance. Personally I think he'd nick a few goals in the prem on the pure basis that he's that kinda instinctive goal poacher, whatever the division.

I used to love your posts... When they weren't aimed ay me. Truth hurts... How many times do people have to hear it? Schneiderlin as good as said yesterday "match my ambitions and I'll stay". it's what all the players have been saying since cortese left in various interviews between now and then.
