  1. I'm not sure a £50,000pw ex-CL winning international midfielder would fancy skanking around in the Championship. And we probably wouldn't be able to afford him, either.
  2. Peddled that line for years, it really is frustrating that every little thing is considered worthy of griping about. Anyway, I suspect the car park is a paid one these days to deter people from parking there for the whole day and fecking off to town...
  3. Corp's back for the latest round of d1ck measuring!
  4. Lol, they still don't get it, do they? You agreed to pay them the money you fe(king morons....
  5. Rightly or wrongly, it really comes to something when you have to rely on your bitterest rivals fans to fill in the blanks that your own club won't tell you. Fair play for investigating it more though, pfc123
  6. They still won't admit they are involved in human cloning.
  7. It does take time for websites to become indexed... have you checked the keywords you've used on the keywords tool? I can possibly help you, but Baj would definitely be the expert here. And with adwords, it's best to check how much you'd likely pay for your words. I wouldn't advise going to adwords route without the supervision of someone and a budget as you could lose quite a bit. Then again, you can cap your daily spend but you also want it to be effective. If you want it to rank organically, that would likely take time, depending on your competition, SEO and so forth. As I said, Baj might be able to advise you better...
  8. Absolute sh1te. I couldn't give a t0ss if the player played for Portsmouth in the past - if that player compliments/improves our squad, great. Just because they were temporarily tainted by the blue sh1ts should never, ever discount them playing for us. That's honesty, btw.
  9. FWIW, I've met Dave Nugent. After calling me a scummer rather jovially, he was a nice chap to talk to. Don't think he's any different than anyone else, certainly didn't carry the ego of some footballers, that's for sure.
  10. You still don't get it, do you? Neither ours/Man U/Barcelona/Whoever else is/has been in debt is comparable to the situation. Yes, some clubs have huge debts - but they're huge clubs which can SERVICE them. It might not be right, but as you can see, they continuously pay their bills, whereas, even to this day, you continue to not bother (Tal Ben-Haim). Irrespective, most teams in debt cut their cloth accordingly. We did when we got shafted for being 4k over our overdraft (not £138m). We played youth players, loaned our bigger earners out - anything to get by without impacting on anyone. You lot? Nah, why bother? Screw charities, screw local businesses, screw the taxpayer and screw everyone if you can to continue to pay way beyond your means until the next drug/gun-running/mafioso type needs some cash cleansed. And you know what? You lot don't even seem to care who owns your club. As long as you get a couple of years cheating the odds you lot consider it "all worth it in the end". Because, like a Fratton whore, you'll do anything for a fix... quickie round the back, anal, a55-to-mouth... The difference is, you're a far from reluctant whore.. You're club is, alongside FIFA, one of the biggest skidmarks in modern-day football.
  11. I think you can put "Champions League" for Frazer Richardson as well
  12. I thought RL was joining the Skates, according to their fans?
  13. We're unravelling the flag at the Memorial Cup? Is that decided? Wouldn't a week or so later vs. Leeds, on TV, be a far, far better option?
  14. Lmao at the background!!!!! I hope that is your blog, The9! My heart skipped a beat when I saw it...
  15. Cork is definitely waiting for WHU to have a bid accepted, IMO
  16. Lmfao, let's see this PM! I don't remember it, but I probably did tap you up for some suggestions, what with you being so well travelled 'n' all..
  17. Lmao, I've missed Nige!!! It's as simple as that
  18. Meanwhile, in La La land; - Norris is yet to be confirmed officially. - Genius tactician Steve Cotterill has earmarked Jason Pearce, a central defender by trade to play as a... central defender. - Their new kits have a stencilled image of a Frogmore Road lady-of-the-night on it's shoulders - No-one knows if Kanu is retired from international football or club football... or both - fans favourite Joel Ward has come back from a LA training camp a much, much better player. In 28 days work. - Pompey have decided to charge £17 for a first round, midweek cup game versus Barnet. I think I'm going to go to this, just to take pictures of how empty the ground will be. - Perhaps the most amusing article is here, which confirms what we all thought; Brave Pompey's rise from the ashes of administration and commitment to bringing through their own youth players. It's definitely going to work - Awful's already shown them videos of "how Barcelona do it".
  19. He does sound quite embittered, doesn't he? Is that really what gardening leave does to you?
  20. Exactly. I'm glad Nasser defended the pitch, though we shouldn't have needed anyone to defend it anyway. It's what teams playing at home do - they prepare the pitch in their favour. It's not our fault it's so one-sided because of the quality of our players and their performances. I don't think Colville even mentioned that, IIRC, Kent's spinners took more wickets than ours! Then again, I think they bowled out whilst ours only mopped up the lower order..
  21. Oxford Street is literally the only place which hasn't been infested by the "crazy" pontificating, students or the knuckle-dragging Ikonites. If I'd go anywhere, I'd go there, defo.
  22. Depends on how you categorize a pr1ck.
  23. Spending gazillions might help in some respects, but a guaranteed making of a successful team it is not.
  24. Bloody Charles Colville insinuating we had an advantage because of the pitch, absolute rubbish. Glad Rob Key didn't make any excuses. In fact, didn't seam do just as much damage as spin this evening?
