To the fans. Not the players.

Do players really care about this sort of stuff? I'm sure most couldn't give a toss about who wore the number they wear before they were even at the club.
-
So then, how is the asset stripping going then lads..?
Turkish replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
Another £18m spent today, they are making a right balls up of this asset strip -
Like the dinlows that film the games on their phones. Penalties, free kicks etc. don't enjoy the moment, just make sure you've got a video of it FFs

I know all about wifi in stadiums Bradley, when I'm not Selling printer cartridges I do a bit of this on the side. Whilst I get why people might want to access betting site or other scores at half time and full time and why the club would want to install wifi to advertise why someone wants to spend the entire game glued to their iPad is beyond me.

I was sat in the bar in my saints shirt with 'Turkish' on the back and I saw BJK and went over and said 'hi I'm Turkish, I post on saints web, what's your user name?' and we reminisced about great threads of the past and good posters who don't bother any more and you can see why. That, my friend, is how you meet people off the internet.

I believe it's a gaggle of helmets.

Come on Shirley. It was a gentleman a agreement, they all loved the Chairman and were only here because of him. He wouldn't lie to them would he or promises things he could do would he?
-
Why on earth would you want to bring a lap top into a football ground?
-
But he was making verbal agreements with players to let them leave, we were told about the domino effect so why would this not have happened if the man who promised they could go was still here?
-
Utter scum isn't he. How dare he say he was a good player before he played for southampton. Vile man who clearly hates us. He is a sick f*ck.
-
This article is not true and we know this because if it were to be true the people's chairman Nicola Cortese would have made this agreement and we all know how ambitious he was. We all know what he'd do when players want to leave or other clubs want them, don't we everyone.

Camel bar, that's it, that's the place I went to.
-
I'm fairly sure that with Lovren, Osvaldo, Lallana and lambert off the wage bill then we'll be saving a few quid on that score. Their replacements won't be the same sort of money.
-
Corteses words were something along the lines of 'if I thought for one second that I did not have the full backing of the Libeherss I have many wealthy people ready to step in' So the issues as to why he quit weren't because the Liebherrs didn't back him or share his vision, otherwise the other people would have stepped in, right.
-
Now there is a point. What happened to the myriad of other wealthy people Cortese said he had queuing up to invest if the liehberrs ambition didn't match his own?
-
Went to sharm a few years back and watched the 1-1 draw with reading in our promotion season in a bar there. I think the bloke who ran it used to live in hedge end. Anyway it was decent and met another saints fan who also posts on here.

I do pal. Idiots. Internet football fans barring a handful are idiots No doubt the ones whinging about signing long now were the same ones begging Osvaldo and Ramirez to sign this time the last two years, despite probably having never seen them play or have heard of them. Probably the same ones whinging when we came up that Clyne & Rodriguez didn't have premier league experience Probably the same ones whinging all summer we're being asset stripped and have no ambition Probably the same ones who have been whinging all summer we're making derisory offers for players who don't want to come here. Now we're about to make a decent if unspectacular signing and they're out in force again whinging that we're paying too much, he isn't a foreigner with a fancy name who we simply have to sign and would be a real statement of intent, despite having never heard of them until the links appeared in the paper. Idiots pal, at least 80% of 'em.
-
Quite. When Rodriguez is back long will probably be third choice striker, that's decent depth.
-
We are building a squad here rather than a team. Long will give us the option to play two up top, he can play up front on his own or potentially as a wide striker in 3 with Rodriguez when he comes back, although not his best role. It's a huge fee but he's a decent player and gives us options and is something different to what we don't have. It'll give Koeman the ability to switch tactics and formations rather than playing the same system week in week and and like for like subs like Pochetino.
-
I don't know about you Brett, but I long for the L1 days when we were the most attractive team for a player outside of the top 4 clubs in England.
-
Well on the plus side that's the nippy, hard working little 'en sorted to pick up the big mans flick ons. All we need are a couple of pacy widemen and nasty bast*rd in midfield to get stuck in and we're all set.
