Over the season we've in the main been pretty good defensively, but like i said the recent trend hasn't been great and as i said some of the goals we've conceeded recently have been sloppy and due to individual errors.

the recent trend is not good though, lost at West Ham and Spurs after being in front, let norwich back into it when cruising and were hanging on a bit until the 4th goal. Stoke got two eqaulisers against us, we lead against Arsenal and of course gave away a two goal lead at Sunderland in the league. that's 6 games from our last 10 and the disapointing thing is many of the goals haven't been due to brilliant play from the oppositition, they've been sloppy defending and lapses of concentration.

Get hold of a kettlebell and do the swing challenge. 300 swings a day, every day for a month. I'm hearing great things about it. This is the circuit i'm currently doing 3 times a week along with 3 runs a week in prep for Yorkshire Warrior in April 20 swings 2 x Turkish get ups 20 press ups 20 swings 20 burpees 20 swings 20 sit ups 20 swings 10 figure of 8s 20 swings 20 kettlebell sqauts 20 swings 3 times through, 2 minutes rest between each set. Time each circuit and do each one as quickly as the first. Is very tough but very good.

Be careful spudders, our under 5s are known to not stand for anyone taking liberties in the family centre, this includes any other u5 mobs trying to take the family end. I've seen it go off a few times and they certainly are a game bunch. Luckily the rules of engagement mean that they dont slap shirters, especially ones on their own but you can never be too careful. I'd advise the barcode youth to leave his shirt at home and dress smart but casual, we dont want him getting ironed out in his first ever game.
