Because i was p*ssed last night when i wrote this thats why Seriously it doesn't have any impact really, just making the point that some of the divs that are one or two years into their careers and in most cases have average at best performance, are generally quite lazy and arrogant think they have a right to earn the big money, manage the big accounts, win the big deals etc because they are graduates. I've heard it time and time again, them saying things like "i should be earning more, i've got a degree" I kid you not. Above i mention the Music graduate who thought he should be general manager within two years because a year into his career he thought he had the ability to do so, he was just one of many similar attitudes i have come accross. Maybe it's just my industry that attracts this lot.

Why does it matter if he momentarily forgot the name of the team of our 2nd last game? He said that we were poor at set plays and we were. Praised the players that deserved to be praised and told those that didn't play what them need to do. For me he just talks a lot of sense, breath of fresh air to the bullsh*t we got from some of our previous managers.
-
this guy talks so much sense, no bulls*it. Also pleasing to hear him thank the fans for their support today always like a manager who acknowledges the fans. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/8952711.stm

I work in the IT industry. By the way that chip you seem to think i have on my shoulder didn't hold me back from earning at least 3 times the national average salary each year and going on an a weeks all expenses paid trip to Mauritius 18 months ago for being one of the top 100 performers worldwide in my industry for my particular vendor. I have respect for people that are good at their jobs, for people that want to learn from people that are good at their jobs, for people that want to acheive, want to do something for themselves, what i dont have respect for are the jumped up luttle oiks that feel they deserve all that i and my colleagues have worked for over years just because they have a degree in Media Studies and come from rich parents. It's a bit of a cliche but the only place success comes before work is in the dictionary. Obvisouly you are one of those that believes that a degree is all that matters.

The manager cannot legislate for individual errors and sloppy mistakes, which both league goals we have conceded so far have been. Against both Plymouth and Oreint on another day we would have scored two or three in the first half. So from that point of view Pardew is not to blame for results so far, but what he does seem to lack is tha ability to change things when we cant break teams down, which is a worry as we will see many teams come here and play like Plymouth and Orient.
-
Do you tease everyone of your non military mates (if you have any) in the pub in Plymouth when you've had a few? Mention it, then stop saying, 'sorry guys, you've got no security clearance, i cant tell you anymore'

But dont tell me Jamie, it's classified?

I am glad you dont work with me either, as you clearly fall into one of the above categories, bit of banter and p*ss taking and you'll be one of those poor, pampered, weak little souls that goes runnning to HR claiming of bullying. So did Mummy and Daddy probably have been giving you monthly allowances and cleared off your credit card a fews times for you have they? So what is your degree in? History? Media Studies?

How is that for coping with an ordeal. No whinging and complaining from them, just getting on with it. 22 days trapped so far and still smiling. Grateful that people are trying to help them get out. Compare that to when the Eurostar train broke down in the tunnel for a few hours a couple of months ago. People whining and moaning that there was no food or water, it was hot and how did they survive!

I applaud your company for their stance against the arrogance of these types, a knocking off their self built perch is exactly what they need. Too often these little sh*ts have been pandered too all their lives by their parents who think the sun shines out of their (they think) academically gifted offsprings arse. This instills this arrogance into them from an early age and is only heightened by the hand outs given by parents who are deperate to please the selfish, pampered, arrogant monster they have created. This creates a generation of fragile, weak pathetic beings which inhabit our country. Coupled with the other end of the spectrum, the dense, thick, wannabe famous, Britains Got Talent generation, full of c*nts who have zero talent or realism but just want to be famous. Told they are gifted by their idiotic parents giving them delusions of grandeur it is no wonderthat most of the young people that are out there these days are utter c*nts.

If you care to read my previous post on this thread, you will seee it is based on experience. I am in regular contact through my job with these snotty nosed little tosspots who consider themselves better than the most simply because they have a degree and/or come from a rich background. My most recent experience of this was working with a 24 year old who claimed after a years experience in this job, his only ever job, he wanted to be, should be and had the ability to be General Manager of the division within two years. This position is one below director, is responsible for 30 staff and carries a revenue sales target of around £100m a year. Yet his years experience in a junior product sales role and the fact he had a degree made him ideal for the role, in his eyes. He came from a priviledge background and had a degree, a degree in Music!! He was well travelled, according to him as he had spent time in Germany and Holland!! Suffice to say the arrogant little c*nt was quickly put in his place and claimed he was being picked upon and held back. I'm surprised you cant understand as its quite clear. 90% of graduates are grade A c*nts. Selfish, arrogant, pampered, spoilt little f*ck faces who think they deserve fast tracking to riches. I think that is quite clear, or prehaps we should all go away and write a 10,000 word thesis on it?

Spot on pal. SAme here, Southampton born and bred but norverners think i am a Londoner, although, like you say, when you speak to a Londoner, you can tell the difference.

To be honest though, the Hamsphire accent does sound thick. I dont like it at all, find it quite chringing to hear people saying graaaaassss, claaasss, faaaaaasst, etc in that awful farmers tone. Sound like simple country folk, sitting around in checked shirts and dirty mud stained dungarees with hay in their mouth drinking cans of scrumpy jack and ohh arrring at the end of every sentance.
-
I despise this, when young, scruffy white kids walk around calling each other Bruv, Blud, in fake wannabe gangster c*nting sh*thouse accents.

It's unlikely that an early twenties graduate with rich parents would want to help poor Africans or similar. Usually they'd be more interested in arsing about living off handouts, travelling the world from fathers allowances or worst case for them and if their parents made them, working in daddies business during the summer so they could stil toss it off when they wanted too, rather than do anything postive or get their hands dirty. However, if they did do any sort of postive work it would be more of an act of selfishness bore out a patronsing reasoning that they are doing it to help the savages. No doubt a few crocodile tears as the weak, fragile, pampered little oiks realise that not everyone lives in a country barn converstion with ponies grazing outside.

Not at all, just warning our Micheal Palin wannabe of the treacherous road that lays ahead.

If you are going to incurr £27.5ks worth of debt over three years (assuming you pass and dont have to retake any years) for the privilidge of getting a degree you really should look to start paying it back asap, no one wants to be saddled with that sort of debt going into their mid twenties. By then you will be looking at getting a mortgage, long term girlfriend etc, and that sort of debt is not really worth it, especially not for a degree in Media Studies. BTW in my experience you are underestimating, it always cost more than you think, even more so if you are planning to save during you university years for your globetrotting. Are you really going to stay in, saving those extra few pounds for your trip, while all your rich uni buddies are out partying on their handouts from mummy and Daddy? You'll be the university recluse, the laughing stock of the year, You'll be dubbed Mikey no mates. While all your male course buddies are emptying their sack into the uni bikes, you'll be dreaming of Tokyo sipping on your 3 litre bottle of White Lighting to reruns of Friends.

He'd have been a decent option to have, not sure if he'd have wanted to come here being second choice to Lambert though. Personally i thought we should have gone for Ben Burgess when Blackpool released him, would have been a good player to have as cover for Lambert. Not first 11 but a handful at this level.

yep another first world country. Do something for other people, go and experience what life is like to have f*ck all, not some other rich country. You'll come back realising just how arrogant and materialistic the western world is. It really does change your perspective of life seeing people living in shanty towns and slums, plus what sounds better when you do want a job, "i spent a year bumming round living off handouts and loans in Japan and Australia" or "i wanted to do something positive with my life, so spent a year in Uganda, helping build orphanages" I know which one i'd find more worthwhile.
-
No, if universities did courses in arrogance, half of the little f*ckers i meet in my job would get a masters.
-
If you really must put off giving something back to this country then i suggest you do something worthwhile with your time, go and help build an orphanage in Africa or somewhere like that, do a bit of AID work in a foreign country, something that will be a good life expereince and be a grounding experience making you realise how lucky you are to be born into a relatively civilised society and have the opportunity to make something of yourself. You should not waste it by arsing around in no mark countries getting p*ssed and living off your parents or loans. I'd suggest this for most of these arrogant little c*nts universities churn out these days. Coming into the job market with the attitude that the world owes them a living because they have a degree, rich parents and have a divine right to instant riches and promotions because of it.

It's fair enough, nothing unreasonable at all about charging for a duplicate.

Alan Lee will be a decent signing for them. THe problem is half of our fans are deluded, thinking everyone is queuing up to join us, people saying we can sign who we want, can spend what we want, have to have 3 quality players in each positon and one person even said we were a more attractive proposition for James Beattie than Glasgow Rangers FFS, somes how idiotic some of the posts on here are. They seem to forget we are a L1 club.

No. Anyway, i insist that mine is the best, Gully, Gully, GUlly, Gully, Gully His name, means anal in the urban dictonairy... TO the tune of Doe a Deer. Tis true as well, look it up.
