Toby Alderweireld Signs on Season Loan - Official
wild-saint replied to Aziz Yebda's topic in The Saints
looks very short for a centreback and very young -
he is probably still eating last sundays lunch judging by the chubby comments on here.
-
so you must be his/ her mum then?
-
really we are talking about saints here? deluded

Morgan's head gone- Update: It has been re-attached

so basically ****** then lol -
2nd half he started to look like a striker. lets hope he builds on the confidence with a really nice finish and some decent touches second half.
-
he can also control it further than any other player in the league apparently. seriously ignoring any stats it seems we are alowed to judge tadic after 2 agames because he was skillful, had a great touch and seemed to be our most creative. Pelle after 2 games appears unable to control a football, win balls with regularity in the air and doesnt have the mobility to work the channels. passing seems tad wayward too. i will not ever boo any saints player whilst he plays for our club regardless of how poor he may be. However i reserve the right to make have an opinion of ability at any point (2 games or 102 ganes) and also the fluidity to change that view as player either improves or declines.

if i was Les Reed right now i woukd probably try and buy Rickie Lambert, maybe start with a 12 million bid. id be on my knees begging him to come back. how the **** can we sell SRL for 4 million and buy pelle for the best part of 9? ****ing madness
-
to be honest i agree here. i know i have only seen him in three games but a player that is the focal point of our attack to show so little is a real worry. I felt he had a really poor touch, was immobile and very poor in the air. **** i miss Sir Rickie. Forget the service he received, the ball never stuck when it was played into him and if he did maange to hold it up he seemed unable to pick a pass for the midfield if they did manage to support him. i really hope he grows into the role but as yet i have not seen any signs that he is remotely decent. when osvaldo joined saints at least you could see there was some ability there regardless of whether he delivered or not

I used a 400mm lens at a friendly and after taking a couple of shots got a grilling from a steward and asked to stop taking photos

do you think they really care if 20 or 30 people type a few aggresive sentences on an internet forum? maybe if a SISA march from the bargate to ground was organised then maybe they woul pull a transfer. how do you post a rolley eye thing..

thier winner was poor defending. wanyama failing to clear followed by davis failing to win a header against sterling. thats not steppping up a gear in my opinion but if you feel it was then thats your call, i just dont agree.

very much this.

another way to look at it is if he is good enough to make the argentina 1st 11 in a world cup year he must be well fairly good.
-
Looks highly likely this will happen. We must have contacted RoJo's people and agreed a deal in principle other wise we would be wasting our time trying to agree a deal with his club. looks like its just the dancing to agree the fee.
-
it seems he only watches the matches of the specific foreign leagues were most of our targets originate

maybe there are things wrong with the great southampton, but he has a contract and for damn sure if he crashes his car on his way home from training and smashes his knee finishing his career tonight you know what will happen? he will expect saints to pay out the remainder of his contract. two way street , we dont want to sell him and as such he has commited to this club for better or worse. in my view tough **** its not his decision when and if we chise to sell.
-
Whilst we are selling to clubs with genuine Champions league ambition then you could argue that we are always going to struggle to keep a player once they decide they want to go. What worries me now is that the rest of the squad will be seeing the lack of ambition and it is now only a matter of time before the lower clubs see us as fair game. Once a player moves from saints to a team we consider our equal (midtable clubs) then we can truly see it all imploding. Personally I think the smaller clubs will be sniffing the remains of the carcass for what they can get.

Wow what a statement. same shyte different day. Determined to keep our young talent? Shame they cant prove that determination with action.
