Wotton? Really ? you clearly havent seen him play. Lets hope he wouldnt lead by example as he looks slow, one dimensional. I absolutely understand why Plymouth let him go. Whoever recommended that signing should be shot. All IMO of course.

Really, its far worse than our starting 11 last year and that finished fifth from bottom. So not that OTT I think.

first half - good slick passing,look good going forward, however Im worried where the goals will come from Thomas so far off the pace it was embarrassing Very lightweight, The team i fear will get bullied out of the game IMO. We really need an old head alongside spiderman who can add some steel to the side. Second half Much the same as last year, lump it forward, immobile front man Dyer should start ahead of thompson Stern john to play ahead of DMG Wotton what can I say - Pedestrian Mills looked pretty good. Overall The second half side would get relegated bottom without a doubt. the first half side have undoubted potential but we need Svenson and Davies fit as a minimum. I guess we will see what they are cabable off in a real competitive match come saturday.

I remember the days when the solent forum was there to discuss the forthcoming season from a footballing perspective. Interestingly there are nearly no questions around our team, training methods, opinions on strengths / weaknesses, forthcoming transfers (if any) etc but no they all seem to be about lowe / wilde which quite frankly is of little interest because they are here to stay whether we like it or not. Maybe thats why lowe doesnt want to attend so that this forum is focussed on football for a change. Maybe they should change the name to the solent football forum

The one thin I really hope this season is that the fns forget the petty squablles and principles of not going to home games whilst lowe is at SMS and get the fook down to the ground every week and fill the stadium. We potentially have a the makings of a decent side but they are kids and will need the full unconditional support of the fans. Lets forget our troubles, turn up every week to watch some slick attacking football and roar these kids to victory.
