  1. As if last seasons kits weren't bad enough they now serve up another abortion which looks like a Liverpool shirt. The Gold badges & sponsorship look cheap & tacky. The shirt is nothing more than a stock training top from the Adidas catalogue. The Poll results say it all. The club has completely ignored the opinion of those that matter most... The fans! Disgraceful.
  2. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Err, No! Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Anything above 14th would be superb. We're a long way from being a top 8 team, let alone top 4!
  3. Surely they'd be better of selling them at a reduced price? The margin in football shirts is massive! 50% off still leaves them making money with a tidy profit. It's a basic rule of business... Turn your stock!
  4. I really don't understand the mentality of the people running the club shop. They've removed all of last seasons kits from the website despite the fact they still have stock in many sizes. I phoned them to see what was available as my lad wants an away shirt and was told that they're still full price and won't be reduced. What is the point of that? Shocking business sense. Nobody in their right mind will pay full price for a discontinued shirt. If that's how it's going to be then let the old shirts gather dust, he can save his money and buy next seasons kit.
  5. It's Atletico, not Athletico. ;-) With the rumour that Cortese wants us playing in Red, White & Green (The colours of the Italian flag) then I think there's more chance of Green shorts. FWIW, I think the rumour is a load of ********.
  6. Cheers for that. I knew I'd picked up one of the shirts cheap but couldn't remember which one. I thought it was the sash but the more I think about it the more I think it was the yellow away shirt. The season before I definitely picked up the home shirt and that awful Navy/Yellow kit cheap. There was no way I was going to pay full price for that. My least favourite Saints shirt ever but when you've got every shirt since the late 70's you just have to get them for the collection.
  7. The club always used to sell off the outgoing kits from around April time. Since the arrival of Mr. Cortese this no longer happens. He's obviously keen to milk every penny where possible. I seem to recall the Sash kits being reduced in price but not until June/July time.
  8. An opinion that you are entitled to. My opinion of you is that you're a Pompey loving ****. And on that note I shall bid you good day.
  9. Sigh. Is the point of a forum not to discuss opinions? His opinion being that it's utterly pointless information. If you don't like his opinion then don't post a response you massive berk.
  10. I've just read something that said black was ditched from Saints current kits at the request of chairman NC. He wanted Red and White (colours of the Swiss flag) as a tribute to ML. It went on to say that all future kits will be Red & White but don't be surprised to see green appear on the shirts instead of black. I think this may have been a tongue-in-cheek comment in relation to NC being a bit of a control freak and him wanting the team to play in the colours of the Italian flag... I wouldn't put it past him.
  11. Adkins. He got Saints back to the Premiership. He'd done nothing wrong and he deserved to be given a chance to prove himself. He's a young British manager and given the current state of the game and the influx of foreigners, British players and managers should be given more support.
  12. We obviously have very similar collections. I too am only missing the 3 shirts that you mention. Sadly, I doubt we'll ever find them. :-/
  13. We're a joke. £12m for Ramirez!!! I was one of many who questioned that at the start of the season and got nothing but abuse. I'll say it again. £12m should've been spent on 2 or 3 players. Not one very average one. He'll end up leaving for about £2m. Great business that. Face it. Saints are going to pay the ultimate price for getting rid of NA (2 defeats in his last 12 games). I'd rather have seen us go down with a young British manager in charge than an Argie (1 win in 6) who will be off as soon as we're relegated.
  14. I don't take delight in it. I'm just ****ing angry. Anyone with half a brain cell could see that NC made a huge mistake getting rid of NA and replacing him with this idiot. There was uproar and then in typical Saints fashion the fans rolled over and accepted it. It pains me to say it, but Saints fans are spineless. We've been dealt so many blows over the years yet we keep putting up with being treated like *****s. Other clubs would still be protesting against the sacking of NA. Not us. We just take it on the chin and put up with ****ty performances like today. I'd have rather seen us go down with a fight and a good young British manager at the helm. IMO Saints will be relelgated. MP will walk and NC will have been taught a very valuable lesson... If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it.
  15. ****, I've just remembered that I said I'd never post on this forum again after last weeks fiasco. Sorry about that. I'm off. I'm pretty sure I won't be missed.
  16. How can you say that? What if Saints get relegated? Is that progression? An Argentinian manager with his fancy Spanish football trying to get out of the Championship... I don't think so. Cortese is a bell end. possibly a bigger bell end than Rupert Lowe. I have a horrible feeling that his decision will backfire horrendously. i wonder how our spineless supporters will react when it finally sinks in that they've been ****ed over by another moronic chairman?
  17. Can't stand the ****. He's another Rupert Lowe. What really annoys me is how spineless the majority of our fans are. Last week when Adkins was sacked everybody was full of ideas about protests. When it came to the crunch they sang Adkins name and didn't show any kind of strength or solidarity with a Protest aimed at the chairman. How many times are we going to allow ourselves to be ****ed over by the likes of NC? I hate to say it but we're a joke of a club and an embarrassment. All talk and no action. Supporters of clubs must look at us and **** themselves laughing. The reason things like this keep happening at Saints is because the fans let it happen. They talk a good game and then accept it as if nothing has ever happened.
  18. I'm with Alpine on this. I wasn't a huge Adkins fan but he was starting to prove the doubters wrong. The result at Chelsea is a prime example and I was more than happy to eat a huge slice of humble pie after that. He deserved to be given the season at least. This is the final straw for me. I'm sick of all the crap that surrounds football these days. Particularly Premiership football. I've spent most of the season following my local non-league team, Chester FC. A club that went bump and is now owned by the fans. It's such a refreshing change to the Premier****e. Sensible ticket prices. No egotistical Chairman etc. Thanks for all the banter over the years folks. I'm voting with my feet on this one. A decision that many of you will slate me for but I'm beyond caring.
  19. **** off Potty. You're not wanted here.
  20. Got slated for saying this at the start of the season. Funny how many people now want him out!
  21. The man is an idiot whether he hires him or not.
  22. Completely unexpected. More than happy to eat my words about Adkins and his tactics. He obviously got it spot on tonight. So pleased to see Chaplow getting a run out as I really believe he has something to offer. I'd certainly be playing him before Davis.
  23. Amazing what a difference Lambert has made. I take back what I said about Nigel's tactics. It looks like he might have done something right for a change. Glad Chaplow is being given a chance. I really believe he gives us something. Certainly a better option than Davis.
  24. 3 more from Chelsea and I'm quids in.
