Worst has to be this season's kit. It looks like a Liverpool shirt and has no tradition with the club. The sooner we get back to wearing red & white stripes and black shorts the better. Best kit has to be the Keegan era Rank Xerox home shirt. I always liked the Hummel shirt that we shared with Denmark too.

Pardew's likely reception next week?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Pardew deserves no abuse at all. To say, 'no praise' is a bit harsh. He gave us a great day out at Wembley and our first trophy for over 30 years! -
A mate played golf with Mike Dean last week. He asked him if he knew what was going to happen to Clattenberg and Dean said, 'Nothing, the FA are going to throw the book at Chelsea'. lol

Another shining example of what a joke football has become. Chelsea are 3rd in the league and only 4 points behind the leaders. The same leaders who are also on the brink of elimination from the Champions League. It was always going to be a big ask for them to repeat the success of last season but let's be honest, Di Matteo has worked wonders there when you look at how the team were performing before he was given the managers job. Laughable, absolutely laughable!

Craig David: My Team - The Saints (The Sun Newspaper)
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to JerryH's topic in The Saints
He's so full of ****. I heard him tell Jamie Theakston that he was a Chelsea fan. -
Personally I think that Jack Cork has been the missing link for us this season.

Just read that we're lining up Di Canio or Vialli if NA goes (which I think he will). No thanks. Whilst I think Nigel is totally out of his depth I would want either of them in charge. Out of the frying pan and into the fire!!!
-
If we go down with him in charge I have a feeling that he won't bring us back up. I can see us struggling to make the playoffs in the championship.
-
Couldn't agree more. All of last season I was saying that we weren't good enough to go up. Looking back we obviously were, the league doesn't lie. However, upon reflection I think what I was getting at was that if we did go up we wouldn't be good enough to stay up. You could see that there was a huge gulf between us and a Premiership team. I can't believe Nigel still has a job. How many managers keep their job after a string of results and stats like we've had?
-
And all you do is use poor punctuation, spelling and grammar. I actually think he's one of the few people on here who tells it like it is. People need to be a bit more realistic about our club. The Poll results tell an interesting story. Nearly 60% of Saints fans are clearly deluded!

I bet against Saints every week. I had Bale to score against us last week at 13/2. It's easy money.

Is a defensive coach the answer?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Steeleye Saint's topic in The Saints
If we've got one he needs sacking! We urgently need someone. I'd be on the phone to the likes of Keown or Dixon. -
Last season I was convinced that we weren't good enough to go up. I'm prepared to admit that I was wrong. However, upon reflection I think I was looking at it from the point of view that if we did go up we were in no shape to stay up without some serious investment in certain areas like the defence. We've failed to address those areas and Nigel has shown that he's tactically naive. A passing game may have worked against teams in the Championship but we're being found out at this level because there's so many teams that play that game far better than we do. I'd have rather stayed in the Championship for 3 seasons and built a better, stronger squad with more versatility.

With Adkins in charge. Absolutely not! 4 points from a possible 27 suggests we don't stand a cat in hells chance.

Amazing. Last week I was lashed on here for suggesting that AL leaves Fox far too exposed. As far as Ramirez is concerned, I have a funny feeling we won't be seeing much of him this season. As soon as we spent all that money I thought, We'll be lucky to get a third of a season out of him. Don't ask me why, I've just got a feeling that he won't want to play for us whilst we're looking so awful and he'll end up being released for a fraction of the price we paid for him.

NAS drives are great unless the power supply fails and takes both drives with it. I've seen it happen on several occasions. I run a NAS and then I do a manual back up to an external HDD which I don't keep in the house for the simple reason that if I was burgled or if there was a fire I'd lose everything.

Ipad Mini - £100 more than the Nexus
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to View From The Top's topic in Technology Chat
Utter garbage! I use a couple of Apple products but there's no way that you can say that they're the best. They're very good at marketing but it's a sorry world we live in where people would rather own something because of the badge on it. :-/ -
So what is the score gonna be on sunday
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
1-4 to Spuds. -
A mate of mine had a couple of seasons playing alongside Dixon when he was player coach at Hitchin Town. Apparently he's got a terrible gambling problem and had blown all his money from his playing days. He'd had his car repossessed and was driving around in a red Nissan Micra at the time.

Put Kelvin back in. He's had his punishment.

It doesn't matter what Apple do as people will just go out and buy their products. It's a crazy world we live in where people buy things because of the brand name over the level of performance. I personally think that the bubble is about to burst for Apple. The connection thing is a farce and the price for the mini doesn't make any sense at all. All the rival products are sub £200 and the mini is too closely priced to the ipad. -
Team for Tottenham, your thoughts?

Gaza Clyne, Jos, Fonte, Fox Punch, Morgan, Chaplow, Davis Lallana Rickie -
Had a very interesting conversation with a fellow Saints fan this evening. His theory is that AL needs to be dropped as he's a big part of our current problem. He feels that the criticism of Fox has been a bit unfair as AL doesn't provide him with any cover when he plays in front of him. Basically AL should play in the hole behind a front man but not out wide. At first I was sceptical about his comments but on talking it through I have to say I'm inclined to agree. As soon as GR returns AL should spend some time on the bench. He certainly shouldn't be captain. We both feel that role would be better suited to SD. I know others on here have said the same thing. The other point of conversation was that we both agreed that Chaplow should be in the team whilst Cork is sidelined. A midfield with Chaplow, Spiderman, Punch and Davies would be our best bet at the moment. Just wondered what others thought?

Nigel - 5 points to save our season (and your job)

Can't really argue with any of that. Wise words. Particularly point 3!
