I read in the Paper this morning that Russia has a suspended 6 point deduction for crowd disturbance during the qualifying rounds. I read later that this was reduced on appeal. Anyone know what the suspended sentence is? If their fans have transgressed in the qualifying rounds I trust they won't get away with a poxy fine. Secondly if Uefa's jurisdiction is restricted to the ground only, and England appeared to be blameless in what occurred in the ground, how can Uefa (threaten to) throw England out? Thirdly, the French government have called for both couturier to be thrown out. Are they blind to the role of their own thugs in the disturbances. Finally, who is responsible for crowd control and security?

Nobody knows Jack Schitt.

Yes really. If we're playing the blame game then blame failure to finish and poor defending. One of our CBs should have picked up theirs in place of Rose. We failed to play in Kane enough. But I prefer to be positive about a good performance. I'm no fan of Hodgson but that was encouraging.

The equaliser was fck all to do with substitutions.

Daylight robbery that was. Good performance by England. The problem was we didn't play in our best finisher nearly enough.

Years of personal injury claims more like. They'll be down the docks quicker than a scally up a drainpipe, sniffing it all in. I think their boat's come in.

Never tire of that one. Almost as good as the Mandaric statue

Good news. Looking forward to Sammy doing it gangnam style again in that funny costume.

It's a just a bloke changing jobs for more money.

Bid for Lukaku with Koeman as a makeweight.

Koeman isn't interested in infrastructure. New stadia take years to become reality. Cash is king but at the moment it's all paper talk. Let's see whether the promises are fulfilled. Even if they are, there are significant risks in spending big. Randy Lerner spent big in a tilt at the top four and then Man City came along. Where did that get Villa. I like Koeman and wish him well but he's swapping stability for uncertainty.

Salvaged a win once Neville told him what to do.

Well that was a bit of a mess. Pointless playing Vardy in some kind of Danny Wellbeck role. Play him up top on the shoulder. Need two defensive midfielders to protect the CBs who, as we all know, are flaky - Dier was good. Put Drinkwater with him. Yes I'm biased but trying to be objective - we've got the wrong two full backs. Main reason, we are weak in defence and Clyne and Bertrand are better defenders than Rose and Walker.

Les Read when asked at the awards last how well Koeman had done answered "ok". Camera moves to a stony faced Koeman. Maybe a joke that fell flat but Koeman didn't look impressed.

Tottenham build up thread ...a question posed
Graffito replied to Yorkshire Saint's topic in The Saints
Tottenham is a dump, though it's set for major regeneration, much of it around Northumberland Park and the new football ground. In previous seasons many Saints fans have congregated in this wetherspoons on one corner of the mezzanine level of Liverpool St station. Alternatively there are numerous pubs around Liverpool St. Then a short train journey up to WHL overground station which is much closer to the ground than Seven Sisters Rd tube. https://www.jdwetherspoon.com/pubs/all-pubs/england/london/hamilton-hall-city-of-london -
Chelsea were never likeable, not even quite.

They've given us all hope.....the bas****s.

Embrace the challenge Charlie. These are the games you want at the end of the season. Can't wait for Sunday.

Yes that's what happened. All got a bit out of hand. It made the national news on TV as I recall. A lot different from the comical pitch invasion at Eastville.

The answer is out there.....in the stratosphere.

Kante, or any number of small midfielders, counter the size argument.

You've got me there Einstein.

And your first words were "But these weren't mistakes by any stretch". Why didn't you simply ask if I thought these were mistakes? I think you are being disingenuous here. Your default position is always to defend referees, even when you haven't seen the incidents. Definitely one and arguably all three were the wrong decision or, let's not mince words, "mistakes", in my opinion.
