Point taken, but what if an owner took the relegation payment and then sold the club, especially if the payment is more than he paid for the club in the first place?

Don't the club get quite a hefty payout if they get relegated and another if they are promoted? Could this have something to do with it?

It seems to me that he could be one of the reasons that we may be in a relegation battle as he is just going through the motions and not trying. I watched him closely during the Leicester match on TV and it seemed pretty obvious, especially with his "shot" on goal! If you can find a rerun of the game check him out.

This is the most level headed analysis of our current situation that I have seen. A lot of media analysis concurs. The squad is the problem - what or who is the root cause of this?

Answer: Because the present manager knows even less about football than the previous one.

How do we know that we don't have better unless they ae given a chance to play in the team? I just hope that the manager doesn't wait until the 75th minute to make changes if his selection is not working.

So if we get a manager that: 1) Speaks "proper" at interviews. (Most important) 2) Only allows attacking football. 3) Doesn't allow any cross-filed passing. 4) Doesn't permit any rotation of players, no matter how many matches we play in a week. 5) Reads the team selection on this forum. (After all we know best!) Then perhaps we will have a manager that some fans will appreciate.

So who are they playing for? They are Southampton players and Southampton pay their wages, Puel is the Southampton Manager and their boss, if you don't perform for your boss and your employer then you deserve to be fired!
