Great point and will be a confidence booster for sure. The penalty claim was another example of Chelsea milking a situation to try to win a penalty. Not as blatant a dive as others I have seen, but everyone knows if you go to ground quickly and in a certain way some referees are easily conned. It's even more effective if you pretend to be injured and wave your arm quickly for your physio to come on. Chelsea are grand masters at this sort of play acting.

As I have been unable to watch the last three games and didn't miss one up until then from the Villa game onwards I am going to have to accept he is decent enough. But only when I am not watching. He was a car crash in all the games I saw.

Question - is it just football that has 'hooligans'? I rarely hear the term associated with random acts of violence outside football. Every time I see the words 'football hooligan' I just think 'lazy journalism'. Also it's very seventies - so usually a lazy journalist with a flared collar and bell bottoms. Wrong club, wrong era.

That lunge by Cazorla that crippled Tadic was a straight red. Chambers was a disgrace with Alderweireld. Proud of the lads though, played well and battled to the end. Focusing on the poor free kicks takes attention away from how shocking our corners were. Tadic should never take another one. We would be better off taking it short and putting it straight out for a goal kick so we can get everyone back behind the ball. They scored their third directly from our corner when Tadic hit it straight to Lampard. Not a Saints player within 10 yards of that corner and no further touches by one of our players before Clichy buried it. If I was a ref I would book Tadic for timewasting if he ever attempts to take another corner.
