I would argue that pulling an attackers shirt to prevent him scoring is a worse offence in that it is deliberate AND premeditated whereas Henry's handball may have been deliberate but certainly wasn't premeditated.

I used to cycle to the Dibden Pulieu Newsagents (aka Sid's) at about 6.20pm each Saturday waiting for the Echo van to dump a bundle of FEs tied with string in an orange box outside. The small queue that had formed then proceeded to take a paper and put the money through the letterbox as the shop closed at about 5.30. Can you imagine that system working today?

I often pass a small van in full PFC livery on the Marchwood bypass heading towards the M27 in the morning so I assume he works for the club and lives on the Waterside.I can only assume he keeps it in a garage. I can't imagine a Saints employee doing likewise without serious abuse.

FFS Everyone agrees we need to strenghten but please just leave it to AP to buy/loan as and when he can. If he says he is happy with the squad and you still disagree with the quality then by all means raise your concerns but give the bloke a chance! For what it's worth I wouild argue that we are stronger overall especially if you take into account our financial position the lack of divisive board members and the management team. Also the 'kids' are a year older and stronger with first experience behind them. Don't forget you can be positive without being a 'happy clappy'. If you only look for the negatives that's all you'll find.

The new 'Management' have made all the right moves so far and would be mad to appoint a Manager who would create a negative reaction from the fans. We need to keep the 'bandwagon' rolling and nuture the new feelgood atmosphere! Anyone from the top 3 or 4 fans choice would probably be accepted by the vast majority for the good of the club but not Tony Adams please!

If WGS is ready to return to Management then where better than a 'local' club with money to spend [hopefully] and where he is held in high esteem and has a good chance of advancement?
