I like your line up......Pellegrino won't select such a side, but I think you are right.
-
He does try his heart out - it's just not good enough, and the perseverance with him strikes me as one of the reasons we are in relegation trouble.
-
Very weird post. Pellegrino will never be an elite coach.
-
I don't disagree; but how do you rate Ward-Prowse? He strikes me as the repeat underachiever in our midfield for the past 5 - 6 seasons.
-
May not be the ONLY answer. Would have been an excellent start though - getting rid; I say would have because it's almost seeming to late to arrest the contagion.
-
Dislikable: Tadic, Redmond, Forster (because he's so bad, and so well paid), Austin. Likeable: Romeu, PEH, JWP (not because he's a good player), Yoshi, Targett, Bertrand (arguable).

Let it go, let it go Can't hold him back here anymore Let it go, let it go Turn away and slam the door.
-
I thought Joe Allen must have re-signed.
-
I just want our Manager to become a defector.
-
Quite, Salah is top drawer as well. Mane looks a fairly relaxed bloke to me - probably good competition.
-
He's not a fraud - he's a contrarian, with a few good words in his vocabulary. It's sport to him - he is likely a serial contributor to "letters to the editor".
-
Would Reed be that worried about his reputation? At 66, and after a protracted period at SFC where he has both lined his pockets and accumulated disproportionate power he has got the superannuation nest egg and the grand kid's inheritance all wrapped up. When he does go, either voluntarily or at a time when he actually becomes accountable to someone, he's off into the night - he is hardly on a career trajectory. And as for the other buffoon, Kreuger, he will retreat to North America somewhere overseeing some hockey franchise.
-
As much as I loathe Liverpool, Kreist almighty Mane is an exciting player. We got such a spark from him while he was here.
-
I've marked your words Mark! The Kreuger interview, accurately described by Guan as "tone deaf", is the most deflating event of the past season and a half - and that's saying something.
-
Stats are one thing - but watching the game it was apparent WHU played with much more desire and organisation than we did against Spurs.
-
This stadium revamp / improved customer experience.

Made me laugh...briefly. Situation isn't funny though, is it? Those Kreuger statements still have me bemused in their misreading of what's needed NOW. -
You are half right - Tadic has regressed alarmingly since his early days with Pelle and Koeman. Boufal is a talented attacking player, starting to work beautifully with Bertrand - he just needs a better standard of attacking colleagues. Tadic, Redmond, Davis, JWP are all liabilities and a big part of the reason we are where we are - compounded by the abysmal Manager.
-
He reminds me a bit of Clive Woodward, minus the Footballing nous in at least one of the codes. Kreuger's words are mostly mealy mouthed platitudes of well worn political/bureaucratic cliches and BS. I actually feel a bit sorry for the Chinese owners having bought into Saints with Kreuger and Reed in charge.

What are Redmond and Ward-Prowse on? They might be hard to shift too. Newcastle seem to have kept a lot of their best players when they were relegated; Shelvey comes to mind. If it happens and the likes of PEH and Romeu stay, with youngsters like Sims and Hesketh, we could be ok.
-
We need a revolution. The decline of SFC over the last 12 - 18mths is pure negligence.
-
But why aren't they? Does anybody know?
-
Don't forget Camara - he really could play.
-
How soon can it be arranged?
-
He did play well - and got little or no help in attack or defence from James W.P. Not as effective at getting forward post-injury, but he's a genuinely good right back.
-
Let's assume your first sentence is true - that he helps in a tactical containing away game, played in that right wing/wing back role - how would he offer anymore than a player like Lemina, or PEH or even Davis in such a role? I see no tackles or interceptions - no runs withe ball; very few crosses unless he is teed up for the one trick pony right to left curler. Tonight he didn't influence the play wide right one jot; no runs with the ball, no crosses, no meaningful passes in advanced positions, little defensive support for Pied - yet PEH was taken off instead. I find his continued selection in that wide right role - home or away, completely exasperating.
