Ian Beale No coincidence that's the first name to crop up!

So when the asteroid hits, does that mean that mean that Alpine will probably be the only Saints supporter to survive the ensuing inundation? Truly the end of civilisation as we know it then.

Remember it well. It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we had planned to be there. Thankfully, we changed it to revisit the far east instead. Time zones meant we didn't find out about it till the next day. With a memory-jogger like that, I'll never forget another anniversary as long as I live.

P'raps I did too. And it certainly was NOT Hardley (educated). Just goes to show there are a number of different ways of teaching maths. I remember getting very upset at a new Junior School after being told by my new teacher that I had cheated by getting to the answers first. At that tender age I didn't quite understand the poor logic at arriving at that conclusion. Turned out I had been taught a different way to do the math.

Expect he'll have to fund his own medical treatment too. Unless Mike can find a couple of painkillers at the bottom of his desk drawer

Hmmm, I think I'll clear the diary for Saturday 15th December. Don't think they'd do it on a Monday? (3rd) And for Sunday 12th March, just in case.

Please can someone on POL ask Corpy where I can buy one of these tickets? Three-quarters the pro-rata price of a season ticket - bargain!

Jason Puncheon "does not cut the mustard" for me
Pugwash replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
Never doubted his talent, just his attitude. Looks like someone's put an arm round him and turned him around. He seems so much more settled and is now in the form of his life. Great for him, great for the club. -
Either that or the scales tip in a fortnight, when there's not enough money left to pay their fees.

Yet another 'timely' attempt at a kick in the balls to Saints from the media just before a big game. Uncanny how the stories always crop up just before we play the mancs, scousers, spuds or other media-favourite clubs. I'm sure IF Nigel does go at some point, NC will be aiming somewhat higher than that discredited dinosaur.

He was a speaker at a St Marys' dinner a couple of years ago. He does the cheeky-chappy, lovable co-ckney rogue so well it's no wonder he got on with 'Arry. Tells a good story - usually about drink, drugs, gambling or being generally 'nawty', and readily admits he was a crap manager. He lives in the past and is out of touch with the modern, more intelligent and athletic game that football has become. Bit of a knob really.

That'll be Lawro. (Sorry, wrong thread.)
-
Agreed, but that'll be the top six... plus Liverpool. AND - He's never forgiven us for having to shave his 'tache off.

Utterly unusable on my Galaxy S3. It's so dark when the player pop-up screen initiates, that the screen is totally black. Took me 4 or 5 attempts to reload before I realised that the page had actually loaded but was invisible. Looking at all the other comments, it's clear that it's not "Fit for Purpose". The club should ditch it on this basis alone.

What's wrong with Indian Melody? Just asking, like. Not been there.

A while ago someone posted a 'pompey matrix' ownership chart, showing all the interrelationships of the various shady characters involved over the past few years. Probably now needs updating to show the Russians, Andronikou and others, but has anyone got a link?

They must be getting us confused with another south coast club.

Just watched this on BBC2, all about the pioneering work of a Jewish-German doctor in treating spinal injuries at Stoke Mandeville Hospital during the war, which started the paralympics movement. Sometimes sad and desperate, occasionally angers, but ultimately truly uplifting. Excellent drama of a true story that needed to be told. Get it on catch up if you haven't seen it.

Nope. No problems, working fine. What phone?

Cue Holloway spitting vitriol on SSN tomorrow...
-
Pathetic. Our own SWF trolls would eat him for breakfast.
-
"The WaveRider test flight is expected to last for about five minutes. At the end of it, the aircraft will break into pieces and fall into the Pacific." Hmmm, I think I'll wait until they improve it a bit...
-
Actually his son.

Haven't got mine yet either. Rang the ticket office and was told they've printed a big batch, including mine, and they 'should' be going out this week.

Does 'Appy know something we don't? ‘It’s not a risk to sign him because it can be ripped up. If the club went out of business after the game, the contract would be ripped up.’
