Careful, you'll be getting a PM from Trousers soon... Oh, and they're mentioned in Angels and Demons.

Someone needs to teach Trevor MacDonald how to pass a bouquet...
-
Sorry, should have been clearer, I did mean in the context of what had gone before.

Aaahh, Kate Bush! Actually this bit's not too bad..

"Day in the Life" from Sergeant Pepper's. Who's the bint in the green? Great voice but awful song.

Seems more likely the agent approached us. It appears that a number of other Prem clubs have been sniffing around for a while, without any real interest. The agent probably wants to hustle things along. Be a nice little earner for him.

Typical of the company and another reason why I won't fly with them. If they weren't running an airline, they'd be tarmaccing drives.

I think she overestimated there. The impact of the debt was more like £180m.

So after this masterful business plan is put into operation, will Gaydamak still own the car park?

Same here.

Birch could resolve this SO easily and guarantee survival of the club. All he has to do is make those players redundant, terminating their contracts and do the deal with the Trust. Of course the Golden Share will be withdrawn and they'll have to restart in the Conference South (at best). They might even still get the PPs and their gates won't drop that much. After all, the Trust and their fans have said that the most important thing is the survival of the club, regardless of their league position. But as usual, they're being greedy and want someone else - the players/former-heroes will do - to pull them out of the financial **** (again) so they can unfairly maintain their League status and continue the serial cheating. If the Trust were serious, and had any degree of remorse about the club's past failings, they'd do the honourable thing and put this to TB.

Don't think our initial setup was a true 4-5-1, more a 4-1-4-1. In the first twenty minutes when we were under pressure, NA kept hollering 'SHAPE' and every time Morgan would drop back in front of the back four. When there was a break whilst Ajax's keeper was having his make-up done, NA was re-briefing the players and after that JWP paired up with Morgan in the middle - more of a 4-2-3-1.
-
Agree with most of that. Thought Clyne and Guly linked well and were on the same wavelength already. JWP and Morgan seemed to work well together after the formation change. JWP is showing he's not just there as a makeweight. Thought Luke Shaw did well when he came on. Rodriguezshowed some good vision, but not his position out on the left.

Been a good signing for us. Never had a problem with his defending. Rarely beaten by L1/Champ wingers, but probably not enough to his game for the prem. Best wishes for him at Forest though.

Angelman's right. The sound won't be great whatever you go for. Try and pick one that you can add a sound bar to.

There's a thought. Has TBH's inflated salary - plus the enormous bonuses he used to earn - simply been a money laundering/debt repayment conduit, involving Pini, Chinny and Gaydamak?

Cheered me no end. Best one yet!

Same happened to me a few minutes after posting around 1.30pm. Too much like coincidence. Statement please Baj.

There was a thread about this a while ago. Good idea that I think should be expanded into food AND drink. Wines, Beers, Ciders(?), spirits, teas coffees. Also home cooking/baking and why not include restaurant and takeaway reviews.

Went once and met the Queen and her Aide sizing up the horse-flesh. Probably a bit more security these days, sadly.

He was at the games yesterday in training kit/tracksuit along with Tadanari Lee and a few others. Was quite happy and upbeat. Pleased to see Arron Martin there as well - albeit in 'civvies'.

Thought this deserved a bump. The lads all did well yesterday, I thought. Luke Shaw looked very composed against a very good Anderlecht side, not phased at all. Made some good passes out defence. Calum Chambers probably had the most difficult job in a very rusty side and up against Anderlecht's Kanu. Not afraid to mix it though and put in some good tackles. Jack Stephens looked very solid against an admittedly young Arsenal side. However, he had Gervinho in his pocket for most of the game - one tackle in particular. A slightly naive tackle in the build up to their goal, but quality nevertheless. JWP looked born to the role in what appeared to be a 4-2-3-1 formation. Very involved and at least equal to, if not better than, any of the Arsenal midfielders. Future's bright for these lads. Be interesting to see if they get run-outs against Ajax and Udinese, who will be much bigger tests.

I know a couple of you have already bagged it, but I'm going for 2nd August. Thursday's the new Friday now.

Did one several years ago. Usually an early start. Agree with earlier tip - take a hat, it's the radiant heat off the burner that gets you, particularly if you're tall. I was a bit red!
