We (England) managed to scrap home, usual England performance, not a lot of flare, but able to grind out a result, only just in this case, but Argentina are no mugs, they're not there just to make the numbers up. I'm expecting a lot better for the remaining group matches & hopefully Jonny will have the right boots on. We've managed to get the first citation of the RWC, Courtney Lawes for kneeing.

They all got stretched necks, especially the front row & Barney behind - wierd.

Thought he did ok, not spectacular, but ok. I'm sure once he's had time to bed in he will be a capable replacement for Jaidi or Seaborne. Having said that I thought both he & Fox were at fault for both goals, but with 3/4 of the defence playing together for the first time, these things happen. He's not as good as Vidic (or Fonte) though. To be honest I was more concerned with Fox at LB.

I really enjoyed that game, although a little concerned about the defence (not massively like some). I didn't realise Butters & Harding were injured & wondered what Adkins was up to, but all has become clear & I think once we have fit full backs things will be a lot different. I thing Hooiveld generally did ok & once he settles into the team will be fine, although I thought both he & fox were culpable for both goals. Well done Lambo, fully deserved tha match ball.

Very true, Lemmy & Motorhead are another example.

Not quite, Mcguigan & Bonehead were in got rid of the original singer & got LG in. He still can't sing though. I doubt if Oasis would have got anywhere without Noels songwriting ability.

Liam Galagher, only got the job because his brother was in-charge.

I believe Fermats last theorem was xn+yn=zn. However, I may be wrong, it's a long time since I played with this type of nonsense. Edit: Looks like I was beaten to it by Ludwig, at least it proves my memory is still working.

I don't think Dunely loves us anymore, he's moved over to the Ugly. Shame.

Got to be quicker just to lift them, rather than take the phone from the bag, unlock it, search for the evidence & delete it. Assuming they existed in the first place.

"Family from hell" in millbrook! - anyone know of them?!
Dimond Geezer replied to Macey_J2's topic in The Lounge
Not in Millbrook anymore: "In July this year the family left their Millbrook home with a handout from Southampton City Council of £2,500." I pity their new neighbours. I wish the council would give be 2.5k for being a good neighbour, maybe I should smash a few windows. -
Indeed. I'm looking forward to this immensley (not so much the early mornings though).

As a parent one of your duties is educate your off-spring & teach right from wrong. I correctly educated both my boys from a young age. They both know they will be sleeping in the shed should their alliegances change.

Congratulations to both of you. 9lb 7oz - that's gonna sting.

I was always a Thomas fan, and thought he used to get a lot of unjustified stick from some on here, but he plugged a hole when we needed it & when called on always put in a good shift. Good luck Wayno and enjoy the sunshine.

Completely untrue, my mate who this happend to: was literally walking past trying to avoid getting caught up in it, he is not the violent or mouthy type & that night he wasn't even drinking as he was driving his mates around, he was literally in the wrong place at the wrong time. So to say "if your not looking for trouble you won't get any" is quite ridiculous & untrue.

Defininetly true for physical injuries, not sure this is necessarily the case for neurological injuries though.

Bloody hell, that's awful news. Best wishes to Dan for a full recovery. 9 Months ago, a mate of mine was thrown down some steps by bouncers. He still sufferes double vision, headaches & is unable to drive, the tragic thing is he was totally innocent & was just walking past a scuffle. Sadly I fear DS will not play again this season.

Bugger, I forgot that was on. I was going to take the little Geezers to it.

I'm guessing there will be no BBC fans forum again this year, as the dates for Bornemouth & The Skates were announced on Solent at the weekend.

How are they travellers if they own the land, and have been resident on it for so long? There doesn't seem to be a lot of travelling going on. Ethnic Cleansing (according to wiki, the official United Nations definition of ethnic cleansing is "rendering an area ethnically homogeneous by using force or intimidation to remove from a given area persons of another ethnic or religious group.") is over dramatising it a bit. Eviction, certainly.

Agree. The boys over at the Ugly won't be happy either.

As someone else said Pards took over a ramshackle, demoralised mob (not just the "team", but the club - remember the comment about no scouting network being in place), and fairly quickly turned it into a good (cup winning) team. I was disappointed when he went, but it did appear that the squad lacked the enthusiasm of the first season. Now though I think NC made the correct decision and I couldn't be happier that we have NA in charge. It should be remembered though that the bulk of the current team is still Pardews.
