I've used Carpet Right on several occasions without any problems. Coincidentally myself & Mrs Geezer were carpet shopping on Saturday. We ended up ordering from Mr H in Bevois Vally (no help to someone in W Suxxex), because their underlay was cheaper & of a better quality than Carpet Rights. With regards to fitting, I'd let the supplier do it, that way they will deliver & fit at the same time & you don't have a 4m roll of carpet cluttering up the lounge for a few days. This ranged between £35-50 depending on the store.

I hate to say it but I find myself agreeing with Dune/Stanley, but to say someone is thick purely because they are incorrect is in itself incorrect, or possibly even displaying a lack of education. Compression shorts will help a little, but you may want to make it the Great South Walk, the last thing you want to do is turn the strain into a tear. I tore mine 15 years ago, and sometimes, even now, it can hurt like hell, usually if I've slept in an awkward position. Good luck with the run/walk (?). I've sponsored a mate a fiver to do it, double if he does it in a Saints shirt.

I don't have problem with peoples sexuality, whether it is the same as mine or different, and I can't believe that anyone in this day and age would. The one thing that makes me feel uneasy with is camp men, whether straight or gay. I know a camp man, he is classic camp; a hair-dresser, minces when walking & speaks like Julian Clarey. However he is definetly straight, he is married & one of his sons plays rugby with my son, but I still feel uncomfortable in his presence, dunno why really, it's probably more to do with me than him.
