Winning is all that counts[ especially when at the bottom], so who cares whether we were lucky or not. We must beat Doncaster next week, or it will count for absolutely nothing. Anyway well done Saints on the three points.

We had to move, when we did. To keep surviving on 15000 gates , was getting harder and harder. In restrospect, with the money still owned on the ground, it is easy to say that we should have stayed put.

derby v. man united - some contrast with us

What a pity that Saints did not put up a fight on sunday, like Derby did tonight. [ Even if we did play for most of the game with 10 men.] As for Proffessor he must have borrowed Lowes tinted glasses, that see such wonderful football played by the team at all times. -
They have probably started to realise that he is a pompous, arrogant prat, who knows absolutely nothing about football.
-
Not a hope in hell, look how Leeds are struggling to get up, and also Forest and Wednesday found it very difficult to get up as well.

We need a minimum of 5 points, but will be lucky to get 3 points.

1-5 if we get lucky and score .

Perhaps the club cannot afford to put players through the medical.[May prove to be a decent signing, if he can stay fit]. As for Smith , totally underwhelmed, was absolutely dreadful first half against Reading, and was extremely lucky to be only booked, and not sent off for dreadful tackle, just before he was substituted.

Good luck Liam, with your temperment and ability, I am sure that you will do a superb job.

Best goal seen live FOR saints at SMS/The Dell

Best goal I have ever seen at St Marys was scored by Tugay for Blackburn in 2001. For Saints best goal would be Pahars headed goal against Charlton a few weeks later in 2001. A magnificent cross from Beattie, a superb header, and afirst league win at St Marys.[ Look where Saints and Charlton are now]. -

Leave with your cabal and never come back. -
New Year Messages for Michael Wilde here please

Just leave with Lowe and his cabal, and never come back, any of you. -
Forest have acted, so should we. However it will not happen, as that prat Lowe will never admit he was wrong appointing Jan.[Even if Jan did go, Wotte would be appointed along with Gorre]. If we go down, we could be down for a long time. The other point I have previously made is how many managers could actually put up with working with Lowe.
-
We stay up Lowe, Wilde, Askham and co go for ever. We get our club back.

Best home performance I have seen this season[ Have seen 5 games], however I feel unless we start winning games we will be cut adrift. Also still baffled by team selections and formation. Then I expect the delusional chairman is poking his nose in as usual. For what it is worth I expect Reading to finish top2, despite being outplayed for most of todays game.
-
Decent bloke, but out of his depth. [i am sure he had no idea what he was letting himself in for, with respect to both working for Lowe and working in the english championship.
-
Plymouth will still be far too good for us.
-
I could not make the game, however if the pro Lowes on here are happy that after another woeful result and performance that the club are heading in the right direction god help us.
-
Does anyone on here, honestly believe that the likes of Billy Davies would entertain working under the self confessed football visionary Rupert Lowe. [ As an aside is John Smith related to Lowe].
-
I like the guy as a person, but feel he is somewhat losing the plot. Then having Lowe as your boss is enough to drag anybody down.

Jan: We're Not Playing Like a Relegation Side
corsacar saint replied to St Marco's topic in The Saints
Cannot score goals, and cannot stop conceding them, if that is not tantamount to relegation form, then I do not know what is. -
Another shambles [ according to 5live commentary], we could have been 6 down by half time. But then I am sure that the OS will put Lowes normal propaganda and spin on the game.[but then the prat knows absolutely nothing about football].

Ok player, not in my eyes will he make a premiership player.Lacks pace[As did MLT, but ability wise, Surman could not even lace Matts boots].
