Great news, top guy and Saints legend to boot.[ I hope he is not following the club too closely, as I am sure that it will not help his blood pressure ].
-
The worst team, the worst board, the worst chairman[ along with Askham], no money- in 45 years of supporting the club, or and probably the few best players going in january. I think with all that lot it is very difficult to remainn positive. I forgot we are likely to go down to league 1 as well.

Eric Martin -
Watford are in freefall and we are not? Did they not also win 3-0 here, not that I think they are any beytter than us.
-
Although I am a great believer in the law of averages[ and Wolves are certainly due to beat us someday soon], I think that could work in Saints favour tomorrow, and it may just play on Wolves mind, that they have not beaten us for so long.
-
Better but still poor. If you go onto the bbc sports football page, you will find better ones in league 2 . Even the Accrington Stanley site does more thorough first team player profiles.
-
Only 101 reasons. Why should I have one ounce of respect, for a person who regards most of the clubs real fans as riff- raff, and has never as much admitted any of his footballing mistakes at the club. In short he lacks humility, is totally arrogant and is destroying our club along with his other cronies.
-
A Yes , as soon as possible.
-
Wolves have not beaten us since the early 81/82 [ definately around that time], so who knows for that game. Regarding Reading I think we will get a pasting.
-
Does the word deluded come anywhere near summing up Wilde and Lowe. Signing on the pitch , for gods sake, is he meant to be another Steven Gerrard.
-
The author was obviously not watching the same game that saw on tv.
-
This not unexpected comment would be laughable, except for the fact that Lowe and Wilde are ruining this once great club, with their total lack of football nous.
-
Came here well past his prime[ great shame as he was in the same league as Bowles. Currie, Hudson etc for sheer footballing ability]. I saw him at the old Leeds Road in 1970 playing for Huddersfield against Leicester and the great Arsenal side, and he stood out in a pretty decent Huddersfield side that included the likes of Trevor Cherry, Roy Elam and Les Chapman.
-
Cannot fault the effort, however that is another pretty ordinary side we have lost to at home. Very predictable and depressing.

Would you put Lallana back in the team??
corsacar saint replied to scott_saints's topic in The Saints
Yes, along with schneiderlin he is one of our two best players. -
We are Wolves bogey side, so I would not bet against us deating them.
-
Perhaps Sussex, hope to win it to help pay Ed Joyces wages. I am totally amazed he joined them and not Hampshire.

Terrific result, well done Saints. We now have to win back to back games for the first time this season. -
Why do we not just enter the first team in the academy league. When will Lowe realise we need some more experienced defenders. In this instance I am not knocking Lowe for the sake of it, but surely stating the blinking obvious.
-
Good post Colinjb, at the end of the day Lowe is a businessman, who knows absolutely nothing about football. He should therefore be nowhere near the changing rooms before a game.
-
When Radio Solent news this morning, said that police in Park Gate were investigating a murder inquiry, I had a terrible feeling that it may be Paula. I can only offer my deepest condolences to her family, and hope that the person responsible is caught as quickly as possible.
-
What are you saying, Lowe in his own deluded mind has never made a mistake in his life.
-
Ponty, if you were paying attention to weston saints post, he said that Lowe was talking to the players yesterday at staplewood regarding finances. The question posed on this thread was what was thought on this forum of Lowe being in the changing room before the game. If you want to pm me on the subject feel free to do so.[ Like yourself I will not stoop to vitriol on this site , regarding fellow saints fans].
-
We as fans can say what we like, Mcgoldrick does not have the right as a player to criticise Lowe. As far as I am concerned the pompous, arrogant prat should not be any where near the players before the game.
-
Should have been out of site by half time. Second half more even, but what happens, we score, they bring on two big guys [ we sit back as per usual], start to panic and concede another ridiculously soft goal. Thus we end up throwing away two more priceless points against a very poor side. Totally infuriating, and it is very difficult to see how we are going to stay up. But then what do that pair of footballing no brains Lowe and Wilde care anyway.
