Great to hear, pity about the awful interviewer, sounded like he spent 5 minutes on his research,or was it 4 minutes?

The Gambia - Here to brighten up an already sunny day....
corsacar saint replied to St Louis's topic in The Saints
Just seen this post, what an uplifting story and video, absolutely brilliant. -
Like the VMAN alluded to on another thread there will be a couple of changes today. Rickie definately did not travel due to his pelvic injury, this is from an immaculate source
-
Sharp and Guly upfront today,Rickie definately did not travel up north, due to his pelvic injury. Immaculate source, like THEVMAN said on another thread, there would be a couple of changes.

Markus,I hope the club that you grew to love, can give you a belated birthday present on April 28th,winning the championship.

Is kpturner the only person to reply to the thread, who actually reads what is there. Some of you on here are illiterate as well as stupid. A serious well meaning thread like this gets 18 replies,a moronic, sick thread like who has been to number twos at St Mary's gets many more, sums it up really. I may have got the name wrong, but the puerile golf jokes would hardly credit an immature school boy.

Who do you want to go up to and down from the Premiership?
corsacar saint replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
Quite an irony the fact that we may change places with Wigan,as they swapped places with us in 2004/2005. To go down, hopefully Wolves,Bolton and Wigan. To go up,us and could not personally care who else. -
I think the money that Markus had earmarked for Stapleford, shows how committed he was to Southampton FC,the club he came to truly love. Nicola,is carrying out Markus's plans and is in it for the long haul. We as fans owe these two men a great deal of gratitude for saving our great club and for taking it forward so magnificently.I have no doubt,if and hopefully when we go up,that the funds will be there,to consolidate in the Premier League.

I want us to win the league.Let us first see how West Ham get on at Peterboro, then it will be easier to make the forecast that is in Saints best interests.

Saints 2 V 0 Doncaster Post Match Chat!!
corsacar saint replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
Delighted for Billy Sharp,Doncaster played very well until we scored and it was far from an easy game .It is looking even better with the West Ham result. -
Doncaster are a decent footballing side, who remember beat us up there, albeit with out Rickie. I am sure if we approach the game the right way,we will win by 2 or 3 goals,if we do not this could be one,if not the biggest shock in the championship this season.
-
No easy games left, the bottom 3 are all fighting to stay up.Blackpool and Middlesboro are both aiming for the play offs.Peterboro have beaten both Blackpool and Reading 3-1 at home, Reading we will have to be on top of our game to win,Palace have nothing to play for,but could still be dangerous. The way we are playing we should fear no one and I do not think that there is any chance that Nigel will allow any complacency,it is in our hands, but we definately have no easy games left.

Hull 0 - 2 Saints - Post Match Reaction Thread

What a night of great results and what a magnificent win. What a time to be a Saints fan. -
Merson is a plank and he played for Portsmouth. On the other hand it would be duller without him. [ Not that I watch it very much at all ].
-
Another good article Chris.Any team in football has a best player,it just so happens that Rickie has been our best player in 2 out of his 3 seasons at the club. Rickie will be the first person to tell anyone that he would not score the goals he does without the creativity of his team mates, being the really nice guy that he is.

If you were writing a banner for pompey, what would you put on it?
corsacar saint replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
I do not like Portsmouth FC any more than most on here, but some of the inane comments are what you would expect from the blue few down the road [ in reverse to our comments on here ], surely we are better than that,we know better, they do not . -
Well deserved Rickie, congratulations.Hope the next 2 and a bit years [ or more ] are just as succesful for you.

Aged 57 [ Andy ] Lived in Hedge End 46 of those [There now ] and the other 11 in Thornhill [ 2 spells]. First game 1963, 3-3 home draw versus Huddersfield First away Chelsea away easter 1972 lost 2-1 This is a great thread.

Harding imho is not even league one standard,he worries the hell out of me. Regarding this game,if we are up for it,we could win by 2 or 3.
-
Ipswich have scored 53 goals but have conceded 60,so unless we have a really bad night,we should hopefully have enough to put 2 or 3 past them and not concede more than 1.

I did not put my point over very well, but in the final reckoning if our goal difference is the best in the league and we finish level on points with Reading or who ever, then it is very relevant.Mark [Dark Munster] hits it on the head and explains it far better than myself[then he is a Proffesser of Literature],when he says hopefully we will go into the final game, with a similar scenario tro the last game last season.
