There is definitely something that pushes his button, he sure has scored enough goals in his time. Any goal is good but slightly sweeter against one of your former clubs.
-
The fans continue with the support for the team but the players will hopefully have learnt their lesson on marking. Do not give him the space next time. Main objective for us put the chances away when they come along.

Update on my young daughters love life.. She has now seen a photograph of Jack Cork and appears to want to go not only to the next game but also the next training session. I asked her about Surman and she replied, "Who". So the moral of the story to keep the young fans attending matches keep on employing fit good looking players. I still hope Surman stays regardless of the interest of Reading. Not seen young Cork play but my two Chelsea supporting friends state he will be a big bonus for the Saints. So here I definitely hope and pray we are onwards and upwards.

I am led to believe that due to the cut backs all form of telecommunications at Saints has now ceased and all parties have been given flags. RL from his Boy Scouts has had no problem but JP is still trying to get to grips with this semaphore thing.
-
You are right with some of your info. If it helps I am told he would be about 52/53 yrs. Sandy Hair. He went to Hereford at the time Terry Paine and Tony Byrne. If you go on Sunday you will probably see him there.
-
Prof steady on now. Have you heard that song about rolling along, wheels on my wagon and cherokee indians? Well, we all trust in Saints and we know even with only one wheel on the wagon that we will all make it to the fort.

Some of our players need a dear John.

The role of Dave Jones (not the Cardiff one) in all this mess

Bring back Chalkie White he new how to keep rif raf out of our club car parks. -
Phew! That is very close Surman is only worth £49m.
-
A transparent boarding placed in front of our goal and then moved up the other end at half time without the opposing side knowing. To be on the safe side we will have Redondo Saints small goal, as knowing Saints they would get the wrong size transparent board from homebase. Magical eh?

They can't get here til Friday at the earliest.

By the time your lad is old enough I can see Hinckley Utd v Saints and therefore you and your lad will not have too far to travel. (I could not think of any other non league nearer you) Then again Leicester could be down there with us.
-
They were at the Birmingham game about 10,000 souls.Did you not pray along with them at half time to hold onto the lead? The other 7,000 were some other nutters who had followed the Saints faith for years.

My two girls are Saints fans with shirts photos etc and have met many of the players after games at St Marys. This I thought would continue forever but the oldest girl still talks about getting a blue and white hooped shirt because of Surman. I have promised her that he will be staying but she is not convinced. But at least the younger one is ok for now as she supports Lallana and he is here for at least this year...hang on what have I just heard..

Sorry, I will not say another word about this signing as it is most unlike me as you can tell re my comments about players in the past or present squad. Forgive me for my outburst and even though I have seen him play against Saints and several times in the west country I should keep my mouth shut and respect the person who made this decision. Once again sorry sIR.

Suggest you get a picture of new players and stick over old player. ie Pulis over top of Makin. PS Makin is a better player even if played in mid-field.
-
Or bring Pulis from Stoke reserves.I would rather persevere with our own youth as above than some other team cast off that no one else wants.
-
If JP really wants this player then he must see something in the lad that noone else has seen except Dad. Maybe that is why I am a spectator/ fan but come on JP what about your own youngsters. This player would not get into any of the Conference sides I've seen play in recent years. Must be some stipulation in the Davies transfer.
-
He still has a few second hand cars to get rid of.
-
When fit again after injury I would estimate his pre season will never be completed until xmas time, if ever. Without this commitment he will always be a really talented player who has never attained a reasonable level of fitness. As a supporter of this lad I feel he has let us and himself down big time.
-
Yes both George Friend and Daniel Seaborne are big prospects and big lads who can play both centre back and full back and would step up to ccc league no problem. Both 19/20 ish. Highly recomended.

I think that was the NOTW reporter.

Not sure what your saying Proff or with your previous post on this one. The press get to hear about Reading interest from say an agent for example after discussions have taken place and report same. Posters hear about it and post their opinions and feelings. Is he going or not? I am sure we will know very soon. Personally I don't think he would make this decision very lightly and most of us would not want to see him go. By the way the press rumours make it more fun for us gossip posters and therefore please give us a bit of slack as yours is not always the best opinion on any matter, whether or not true.
-
Loyalty and kissing the badge etc we should not be taken in anymore. To be fair Agents dictate and no doubt Saints needed to move him on to save his wages. But you are right he is telling a different story to the one he gave on his arrival. My concern would you sign him without match fitness and full pre season. I suppose the price is right for a very good player and therefore worth the gamble.
-
But they dropped into place for Reading youngsters. To be fair they were playing the German/Italian form of Total Football and had more time. Only joking Minty, I am right with the programme, it will just take another year to put it into practice throughout the club. To many old pros playing for us.
