Offered contract at Colchester http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/default.stm Deserves a chance at a new career IMO
-
14 career titles, including 4 ATP World Masters wins, plus a little matter of $11.6 million in prize money, all at the age of 23 and apparently he hasn't won anything. But these don't matter because they're not Grand Slams. Oh, and he did briefly reach world no.2. Not bad for a toff.

What's the bloke's name?
-
My daughter's called Rosie after Lowe's cheeks.
-
Don't say I didn't warn you. Let's see Tiger T-23 Barnes T-44 Stricker T-55 And in-form Rose didn't make the cut. Never mind the US PGA starts in a few weeks - another chance to throw money away. What a bunch of f*cking chumps

Qualify for t20 QF's - excellent

Who? I honestly googled that and it said "Did you mean Burley?" Now I know

Do you really need to be trained to use a shovel FFS. This country today - I despair. No wonder we've gone down the pan. -
All right then - they did a big item on cheese

Meridien are being brave. They did report - it took about 10 seconds. Followed by the really big stories about goldfish, cherries (no, not them - the fruit) and speedway. They're in denial.

Years ago I slipped a disc whilst coughing (it can happen, honest) I went to see a chap called Featherstone who had a clinic on the corner of Hill Lane and Milton Road. I think he used to do physio work for Saints at the time. He was great and sorted me out in one visit - long gone now though I'm afraid.

I'm repeating my post from the US Open thread in the hope that some of you half-wits see sense - how many of you picked McDowell? "Why anybody would ever bet on the outcome of a golf tournament is beyond me. Notoriously unpredictable, form goes out of the window, and 155 contenders in the field. And crap odds - the bookies must love it." You might as well just send the bookies the money. Tiger 5-1fav? Jeez.

It will take a little while to settle down. Btw, most GPs are a waste of time with this sort of thing, by definition they are "Jacks of all Trades" and well, you know the saying. That said if you find one with a stated special interest in this area, they could be OK. One other thing, don't fall for the 'regular check-up every 6 months' line, only go back if you need to. Happily 20 years on I never needed to and have saved the (considerable) cost of 40 visits. Hope you have a similar experience.

Thank feck for that!

My daughter has over 800 "friends" on facebook. Some of which, frankly, she hardly knows. It seems to be a popularity contest going on here. She is basically sharing her life and details with 800 people. Madness. "Social networking" sounds all lovely and positive, but I have become more cynical about some peoples motives - comes with age and experience I suppose. Maybe I'm a sad old git but at the end of the day my advice to anyone is - trust no-one and keep your cards close to your chest. Hope it all works out for you and your wife though.

When I say "working exclusively for P*mpey" I meant in a football sense. He is a GP and works in football part-time. Reveal my source? No - but is 100% reliable.
-
Fridays in London Road. Christ that was along time ago. Remember seeing Ron Davies in there FFS. I'll get me coat.
-
Is she Barry Harvey?
-
The doctor - Greg Warner - is now working exclusively for P*mpey. Although remains a Saints fan. Make of that what you will.
